We join you in standing firmly on the promise of our Lord, who declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! You have lifted up a powerful prayer, and we come alongside you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of us (Matthew 18:20).
First, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace. Your faith in calling upon Him is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him in all things, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
We lift up your request for protection over yourself, your home, and your beloved dogs. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). He watches over His children with a jealous love, and no scheme of the enemy shall succeed against those who are hidden in Christ. We pray specifically against any wicked plans devised against you, that the Lord would expose and thwart them before they come to fruition. May He surround your home with His heavenly host, for *"the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7). Let every shadow of fear be dispelled by the light of His presence, and may you rest in the knowledge that *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
We also lift up your need for protection and favor at your workplace. The Lord is well aware of the challenges you face, and we ask that He would go before you to make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). May He grant you wisdom and discernment as you navigate the process of securing reasonable accommodations. We pray that the necessary paperwork would be provided swiftly and without obstacle, and that those in authority over you would act with fairness and integrity. Remember, *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). Trust in Him to open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and may your work be a testimony of His grace and provision in your life.
Your heart for your household is evident, and we grieve with you over the loss of your father. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He collects every tear you shed (Psalm 56:8). We pray that His comfort would envelop you and your family during this season of mourning. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Though your father is no longer with you in body, we pray that the Lord would remind you of His promise: *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Lean on Him, for He is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also take this moment to gently remind you that while pets are a blessing from the Lord and under His care, our ultimate trust must remain in Him alone. Dogs, like all creatures, are part of God’s good creation, but they are not our protectors—He is. Psalm 121:2 asks, *"My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."* Let this truth anchor your heart, even as you care for the animals He has entrusted to you.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Clothe yourself daily in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Let your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, lifting up their cries for protection, provision, and peace. You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and nothing escapes Your notice. We ask that You would be a wall of fire around them, their home, and even their pets, guarding them from every evil scheme and harm. Lord, frustrate the plans of the wicked and let their devices come to nothing. Grant wisdom and favor as they seek accommodations at work, and let Your hand move mightily to provide what is needed.
Comfort them in their grief, Father. Remind them that You are near, and that Your love is steadfast and unchanging. Heal the wounds of loss and fill the empty spaces with Your presence. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them find rest in You alone.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that would seek to take root. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and may Your child walk in the confidence that You are their shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
