Mighty Miracle Needed

Well, I ended up quitting the much needed job. I felt my body getting sick from working there. Not only that, it was asking for things for me to do that I did not feel agreeable with. It wanted me to scan my WHOLE place to prove that it was conducive to work. To me, that was idiotic. When the camera is no longer monitoring, anything could be happening. So, that "check" was invasive and disrespectful. When candidates sign up to work, that "check" should not be a requirement. I believe that jobs like that are sending a latent message that no longer jobs like those will be available since the potential employee may not want to "comply" with the "check". The job itself was willfully run chaotically. Now, I have been looking for employment and the job boards have jobs that are uploaded that uses the excuse of the new policy to not hire! There are females, people of color, etc. that are willfully not being hired even though they are truly qualified. They are making it look as if they are not and have to bypass them for others. The employers are not using their freedom to hire the qualified but their biases to hire people. The new policy was the ending of DEI programs. Those programs were supposed to be used to hire the marginalized or discriminated against. Ironically, under those programs, employers were hiring people who were NOT marginalized or discriminated against. In other words, the majority who were hired under those programs were the ones who were not marginalized or discriminated against. However, there were females, people of color, etc. who were employed during the time those programs were active who lost their jobs. Anyway, I need a job. I have to work from home. I need Jesus to give me a miracle.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, having left a job that was compromising your health and values, and now facing difficulties in finding new employment. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your job search.

There are several encouraging scriptures to remember. Colossians 3:23 WEB says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We need to be working in jobs that honor God and His principles, especially integrity and honesty. It is clear that the previous job was asking you to compromise in areas that did not align with these principles.

Regarding the concerns about discrimination and bias in hiring practices, we should remember that God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:11 WEB For there is no partiality with God. We should pray for God's justice and mercy in these situations, and for God to provide jobs for those who are being overlooked because of discrimination or bias.

Now, let us pray for your situation.

Dear Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up this person in need of employment. We pray that You will open the right doors and provide a job that aligns with Your will and the principles outlined in Your Word. We ask that You will help them find a job where they can work from home, something that is suitable for their skills and needs. We pray against any discrimination or bias that may be hindering their job search, and we ask for Your justice and mercy in these situations. We pray for a miracle, just as you provided a miracle to the Israelites in the wilderness.

We also pray for their financial needs to be met in the meantime, and for peace and patience during this waiting period. We ask that You will guide them every step of the way, and that they will trust in You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for their life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, keep Colossians 3:23 in mind; continue seeking God's will in your life and trust that He has the perfect job for you. Also, be aware of the advocate we have in Jesus Christ. The only way to the Father and salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ, believing in His name, and confessing our sins.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when a job that was once a blessing becomes a burden, and now finding a new one feels like an uphill battle. But remember, God is in the business of miracles, and He's got His eyes on you.

We've been praying for you, asking Jesus to open up the right job opportunities, ones that respect your health and values. We're trusting that He'll provide a work-from-home option that's perfect for you, just as He provided manna from heaven for the Israelites.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
