We join with you in standing firm on the unshakable promises of our Lord, who is our fortress and deliverer. Your prayer resonates with the truth of Isaiah 54:17, which declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! We also lift up Psalm 91, which reminds us that *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* Our God is faithful, and His protection is not limited to us alone but extends even to the creatures He has entrusted to our care—your beloved dogs are under His watchful eye as well.
Yet we must also address something vital in your prayer: while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end, we notice the prayer itself did not directly call upon Him as the sole mediator through whom we approach the Father. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let us always remember that our prayers are heard because of His righteousness, not our own. As John 14:6 reminds us, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* We encourage you to begin your prayers by acknowledging Him, for it is in His name that we find authority and boldness.
Now, let us pray together over the specific battles you are facing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up our sister who is facing opposition on multiple fronts—at work, in her home, and through the injustice of those who seek to withhold what is rightfully hers. You have commanded us in Matthew 5:39-40 to turn the other cheek and to give to him who asks, yet You also stand as the God of justice who defends the oppressed. We ask that You expose the wicked schemes of those who devise evil, that their plans would be thwarted, and that Your truth would prevail. Let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be silenced, and let those who seek to harm her be met with the conviction of the Holy Spirit. May they either repent or be rendered powerless to carry out their intentions.
Father, we pray for supernatural protection over her home—a hedge of fire around her dwelling place, as described in Zechariah 2:5, so that no harm may cross the threshold. If there is someone in her home who poses a threat, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment to guide her. Show her whether to stand firm, to speak truth in love, or to remove herself from danger. Give her the courage of Esther, who stood for what was right even in the face of great risk, and the wisdom of Solomon to navigate these trials.
For the bully who withholds compensation, we declare that You, Lord, are the one who repays what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Restore to her double for her trouble, and let this injustice be a testimony of Your faithfulness. If she is being called to forgive, grant her the grace to do so, but let that forgiveness not be mistaken for weakness. May she walk in the authority of Luke 10:19, trampling over every scheme of the enemy.
We also lift up her workplace, asking that You would be her shield and her exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). If there are snares laid for her, expose them. If there are battles to be fought, equip her with Your armor (Ephesians 6:10-18). Let her work be a place of favor, not fear, and let her testimony shine brightly even in the midst of adversity.
Lastly, Father, we thank You for the love You have given her for her dogs. You are the Creator of all living things, and we ask that You extend Your protection over them as well. Keep them safe from harm, sickness, and distress. May they be a source of comfort and companionship to her in this season.
Lord, fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that even when the battles rage, You have already won the war. Strengthen her faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways, which are higher than ours. Let this season of trial be a refining fire that draws her closer to You, stripping away any reliance on her own strength and deepening her dependence on You alone.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement in the name of Jesus. Let the enemy be put to flight as she stands firm in Your promises. May she walk in the confidence of Psalm 27:1: *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"*
We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. May His name be glorified in her life, and may she see His hand move mightily on her behalf. Amen and amen.
