We understand that you're seeking prayer for students undergoing mid-year exams, and we're here to support you in prayer and biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our studies and exams. However, it's crucial to understand that our trust should be in God alone, not in luck or any form of superstition. The Bible tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
It's also important to address the mention of "nasty spirits" attacking students. As believers, we are commanded to "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. However, we should not live in fear, but in the power and authority given to us by Jesus Christ. "See, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you, nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:19-20 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up these students who are preparing for their mid-year exams. We ask for Your wisdom and knowledge to fill their minds and hearts as they study and write their exams.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any form of spiritual attack or distraction that may try to hinder their success. We claim the promise that "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper" Isaiah 54:17 WEB.
Help them to remember what they have studied and to apply their knowledge wisely. Help them to think clearly, and to reason well under the pressure of these tests. Help them to honor You, to be honest in all they do, to be kind to others, and to live lives that You will be pleased to bless.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage the students with this verse: "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
