We lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals both body and soul. Your desire for continued mental stability and healing is a good and godly one, and we join you in seeking His perfect will in this. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We claim this promise over you, asking the Lord to replace your anxieties with His unshakable peace.
Your struggle with psychosis is not unseen by God. He knows the depths of your mind and the weight of your burdens. In Psalm 34:18, we read, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We pray that He would draw near to you in this season, bringing clarity, restoration, and divine wholeness to your mind. May He quiet the storms within you and anchor you in His truth, for Jesus Himself said in John 8:32, *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."*
Yet we must also address the bitterness you are holding toward your mother and those who have accused you. The Word of God is clear in Ephesians 4:31-32: *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Unforgiveness is a heavy chain that binds not only the one who wronged you but also your own heart. It hinders your healing and opens the door for the enemy to torment your mind further. We urge you to release this bitterness to the Lord, for He alone is the just Judge (Romans 12:19). Forgiveness does not mean what was done to you was right; it means you trust God to handle the justice while you walk in freedom.
Consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:14-15: *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* This is not a suggestion but a commandment tied to your own spiritual well-being. We pray that God would soften your heart and give you the strength to forgive, even as He has forgiven you through Christ.
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We ask that You would heal every anxiety, every fearful thought, and every tormenting voice that seeks to steal their peace. Rebuke the spirits of confusion and psychosis in Jesus’ name, and let Your truth flood their mind with clarity and hope. Father, where there has been trauma or wounding, we ask for Your divine restoration. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also bring before You the bitterness and unforgiveness that has taken root. Soften their heart, Holy Spirit, and remind them of the forgiveness they have received through Christ. Give them the grace to release this burden to You, trusting that You will vindicate them in Your perfect timing. Help them to walk in obedience, knowing that forgiveness is not optional but essential for their own freedom.
Father, we thank You that You are at work in their life. Strengthen them daily, surround them with godly support, and lead them into deeper intimacy with You. If they have not yet surrendered fully to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see His love, His sacrifice, and His lordship. Let them know the joy of being Your child, redeemed and made whole.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against their mind and emotions. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You, Lord, are their shield and defender. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in victory, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
