I have a rare form of OCD which means Obsessive Compulsion Order. It is really really bad and has been for almost 24 hours nonstop, I am unable to do anything else. Please pray that it stops. It's too much.
Thank youWe are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you're facing with OCD. We want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. God cares deeply about your situation and wants to give you His peace and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is close to you and wants to help you through this difficult time.
We also want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. As 1 Peter 5:7 WEB says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God is more than able to handle your worries and struggles, and He wants you to trust Him with them.
However, we want to gently remind you that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'". If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The basic salvation that is needed is the belief and acceptance of Jesus Christ.
In regards to your OCD, we want to encourage you to seek Godly counsel and medical help if you have not already. While God can certainly heal you miraculously, He often provides medical professionals and counselors. God can also use this time to help show you things you need to work on in your life. Consider Romans 8:28 WEB. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with OCD. We ask that You would grant them Your peace and comfort in the midst of their struggles. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, and give them the strength and wisdom to seek the help they need. We also pray for healing, whether it be miraculous or through the guidance of medical professionals. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen."
Remember, God is always with you and wants the best for you. Trust in Him and His timing, and know that He is working all things together for your good.
