Memories And Mercy

Father God, I stand before You today, in awe of Your great mercy and love. Please lend me Your comfort and presence this week. My brother joined You in Heaven 12 years ago today, but it seems like a lifetime ago. I praise You for our years together, his amazing smile and outgoing personality. He was such a joy to be around, even in the midst of his struggle with cancer, I never saw him down, never heard him speak a negative word. He was truly a reflection of Your love on this earth.

Thursday is the anniversary of my baby brother coming to Heaven. Although we only had him for 18 months, his death changed the dynamic of our family forever. I thank You for the generous comfort You bestowed upon my parents during their time of grief - and for helping the rest of us come to terms with this separation as we grew older. Although we have parted with the earthly vessels, I know there will be a great reunion in Heaven one day, thanks to the loving sacrifice of Your Son. Father, You know the heaviness and burdens upon my heart - please guide me and provide for me as only You can. In the name of Jesus Christ, may You receive all honor, glory and praise. Take care of my beautiful brothers just a while longer...one day I'll be there, too.

Our Heavenly Father, I was just thinking today how blessed we are with how You help us over the death of a loved one. You allow us to cry over them, our hearts so heavy with grief, and slowly over time our tears become tears of respect and happiness in remembering the loved ones that have gone ahead. Just an hour ago I heard You tell me how the loved ones live forever in our hearts, as long as we are on this earth they are here in our hearts and in our minds. They are also waiting for us, with You, and I praise You for making the way for us to be with each other and You in glory. I pray for this sister of mine, who I have never met, but know her from her walk with You and her obedience to You. Lord, I pray for You to give her parents and brothers a loving hug and let her feel their closeness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

I pray for K-J and all family affected by the loss of these two brothers. Please comfort them with Your Holy presence, filling their hearts with love and peace. I thank you for the lives of these brothers, for the life of K-J, and for the precious memories these two brothers left behind. Father, I thank you that we will someday see our loved ones again...for Your gift of salvation...for You soverignity over our lives. May Your name be glorified in all the earth. Please bless K-J today, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

Yes, Lord I Pray for K-J and her family just now. I lift them to you. Feel her heart with joy and happiness Lord, during this time. She loves you Lord, Let her remember the great laughter that her brothers gave to her Lord, What Divine Comfort there is in truely knowing in her heart, they are with you Lord. Yes, Lord, We miss our loved ones, and sometimes we still wish they were here with us, and we still cry for them Lord, we don't know all the reasons why, but you do Lord, they are far better with you Lord, than we are here in the flesh, May we continue to Praise You Lord, and Love you Lord. Give KJ great grace this week Lord, and your Great Mercy Lord, as these memories come flooding back Lord, they have never left her Lord, as you have never left KJ Lord, Give KJ your strength and place your loving arms around her Lord, I pray for my dear, sweet sister Lord, To Embrace your love and presence this week Lord, she seeks her refuge in you Lord, In Jesus Name Amen
