We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer as you face this uncertain and stressful situation. It is clear that you are seeking God’s will and trusting in His provision, even when the path ahead feels unclear. Your faith in the midst of fear is a testimony to the strength that comes from the Lord.
First, we want to affirm your trust in God’s sovereignty. You are right to declare that He is in control, that He protects you and your son, and that He will provide. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Even when circumstances seem overwhelming, we can rest in the promise that God sees our needs and will not abandon us. Your patience and faith in waiting on Him are commendable, and we pray that He continues to strengthen you in this season.
We also lift up your meeting with your boss and HR. It is understandable that you feel confused and unsettled when concerns are not clearly communicated. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that God grants you wisdom, clarity, and peace as you enter this meeting. May He guide your words and give you discernment to respond in a way that honors Him. If this is the time for a transition, we pray that He opens doors of opportunity and provides favor in your job search. Your second interview next Tuesday is already an answer to prayer, and we ask that God prepares the way for you to walk into the next chapter He has for you.
We also want to lift up your son and the fear he is experiencing. It is heartbreaking to see our children worry, but we can point them to the same God who cares for us. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* We pray that God calms your son’s fears and reassures him of His provision. May he see God’s faithfulness in the midst of this trial and grow in his own trust in the Lord.
We also want to gently encourage you to continue seeking help where it is needed. You mentioned that you know you have to ask for help, and we want to affirm that this is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we pray that God surrounds you with people who can come alongside you in practical ways. Whether it is through your church, community, or other resources, may He provide the support you need during this time.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is facing uncertainty in her job and the weight of providing for her son. Lord, we ask that You go before her in this meeting. Grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, wisdom to navigate this situation, and clarity about the path ahead. If this is a time of transition, we pray that You open doors of opportunity and provide favor in her job search. Lord, we also lift up her son to You. Calm his fears and reassure him of Your provision. Help him to see Your faithfulness even in the midst of uncertainty. Father, we ask that You surround them with Your presence and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Give them strength to wait on You and trust in Your perfect timing. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Even when the road is difficult, He is faithful, and His promises are true. We will continue to pray for you and believe with you for God’s best in this situation.
