We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for medical assistance. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and provides for Your children in their time of need. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We stand on this promise today, believing that You hear this cry for help and will move on behalf of this beloved child of Yours.
Lord, we ask that You open the doors for this medical insurance assistance. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way, and we trust that You will provide the resources needed for these surgeries and medical care. We pray that every necessary approval would come swiftly and without unnecessary delay. Your Word says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You will meet every need according to Your glorious riches.
We also lift up the financial burden that weighs so heavily on this heart. The high copays and medical bills can feel overwhelming, but we know that You are not a God of lack or fear. You tell us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that this dear one would seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all these necessities unto them.
Father, we ask that You would also provide wisdom for those making decisions about this medical assistance. Let Your favor rest upon this application, and may those in authority be moved with compassion and understanding. We know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust that You are working even now to bring about a resolution that will glorify Your name and bring relief to this situation.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold. The enemy would love to see this child of Yours overwhelmed and discouraged, but we declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We speak peace over this situation and declare that God’s provision is on the way. We pray for strength and endurance during this waiting period, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Lord, we also pray for healing—both physically and spiritually. If there are areas in this life that need Your touch, we ask that You would bring restoration and wholeness. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise today, believing that You are working even now to bring healing and relief.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of this precious one. We trust in Your unfailing love and know that You will not abandon Your child in their time of need. We ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us even now. Amen.
