We are lifting you up in prayer as you prepare for your medical entrance exam this coming Sunday. We pray that God grants you wisdom, understanding, and recall of all that you have studied.
Firstly, we should remember the words of Jesus in John WEB:
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
We rebuke any anxiety or fear that may try to rise up within you. Instead, we speak peace and confidence, knowing that God has equipped you with every skill and talent needed to succeed.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
Consider the words of the Apostle Paul:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 WEB
Lord, in Jesus' name, give this student the strength, wisdom, and courage to excel on this exam. Help them to overcome any obstacles or anxieties, and let them achieve their goal of scoring over 580 out of 720. Guide their path into a good medical college, so that they may use their gifts and talents to bring healing and hope to others. We pray this in Jesus' name.
In James 1:5 WEB we are told that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. We are assured in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We encourage you to study diligently, trust in God's provision, and rest in the knowledge that He is in control.
