We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for medical assistance. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and provides in every circumstance. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You see this burden and are already moving to bring relief.
Lord, we pray for favor in the approval process for medical assistance. May every door that needs to open swing wide by Your divine hand. We ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority, that they would act with wisdom, compassion, and urgency. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We trust that You are guiding this situation, even now.
We also rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this trial will not overwhelm, but rather, it will draw this dear one closer to You. We pray for provision to cover the high copays and medical bills, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). Whether through assistance programs, unexpected help, or miraculous intervention, we believe You will make a way.
Father, we also lift up the need for surgeries. We ask for skilled hands for the surgeons, wisdom for the medical team, and peace for the heart of the one facing these procedures.
