We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for medical assistance. Father, we know that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and that You see every struggle and every burden. We ask that You move mightily on behalf of this dear one, opening doors that no man can shut and providing the help that is so desperately needed.
Lord, we pray for favor in the approval of medical insurance. You tell us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority, granting wisdom and compassion to those who review this request. May they see the urgency and act swiftly to provide the coverage needed for these surgeries and medical care.
We also pray for provision over the high copays and medical bills. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You stretch every dollar, provide unexpected resources, and surround this one with people who can offer practical help. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in this situation. You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this trial will not overwhelm, but that You will be glorified in the midst of it.
Father, we also lift up the physical healing that is needed. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and medical professionals involved. Give them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they care for this body. We pray for complete restoration and healing, trusting in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds."
We encourage this one to continue seeking You in prayer and to remain steadfast in faith. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are not alone in this battle.
