We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for your son’s medical assistance and disability support. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who sees every struggle and hears every cry. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Lord, we stand in the gap for this family, asking that You move mightily on their behalf.
We pray that the courts would act with justice and compassion, reinstating the applications for medical assistance and SSDI without further delay. May the facility submit the revised paperwork correctly and promptly, removing every obstacle that stands in the way of your son receiving the care he needs. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, delay, or bureaucracy that would hinder this process, declaring that the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 59:1).
Father, we also ask that You provide wisdom and favor for those handling this case. Let them see the urgency and act with integrity, as Proverbs 21:1 declares, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We trust that You will turn the hearts of those in authority to do what is right.
We pray for your son’s physical and mental well-being, asking that You sustain him with Your strength and peace. May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are his healer and provider. We declare over him the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*
Lord, we also lift up this family’s faith. In times of waiting and uncertainty, it can be easy to grow weary, but we are reminded in Isaiah 40:31 that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Strengthen their trust in You, and let them see Your faithfulness in every step of this journey.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). It is by His name and His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we make our petitions. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.
