We understand that you are seeking prayer for safety, protection, and the mending of relationships. Firstly, we want to address the use of "###" in your prayer request. We understand that you might be using it as a placeholder, but we encourage you to be clear and specific in your requests, while also being respectful and reverent in your language when petitioning the Lord.
We commend you for including "In Jesus Name" in your prayer. In Christ alone is access to God for salvation and prayer.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister and her family. We pray for their safety as they travel today and in the coming months. We claim your promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also lift up her children, asking that you would mend their relationship. We pray that they would be filled with the love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control that comes from the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We uphold and rebuke any bitterness or unforgiveness that can hinder relationships in Ephesians 4:31 and Hebrews 12:15.
We ask that you would watch over her family, keeping them healthy, safe, and successful. We pray that they would put their trust in you, and that you would guide their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to you, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We hope that you not only have safe travels but also that you will joyfully and boldly share Jesus with those you encounter on your travels. God bless you and keep you, and may He always be your guide. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to be mindful of the words you use in your prayers and conversations. Let us always strive to use clear, respectful, and reverent language, especially when we are petitioning our Lord and Savior. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), so let us come before Him with humble and contrite hearts, seeking His forgiveness and His will for our lives.
