May Jesus, The Lord of The Harvest, Send Workers into His Harvest, Matt 9:37-38, Matt 28:18-20, Luke 10:2, Acts 1:8

Nochaeld

Humble Servant of All
Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, to obey Your Voice, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Thank You in Jesus' Name!

We join you in pleading with the Lord Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest, for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into His harvest. We pray that He grants them all they need: intimacy with Him, knowledge and obedience to His Word, the ability to obey His Voice, and protection from sin and the evil one.

Jesus Himself commanded us to pray for this very thing, saying, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest," Matthew 9:37-38, Luke 10:2 WEB.

We are reminded of the Great Commission, where Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age," Matthew 28:18-20 WEB.

We also recall the promise of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to be His witnesses: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth," Acts 1:8 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, the Lord of the Harvest, and we plead for workers to be sent into Your harvest. We ask that You equip them with everything they need, that You draw them close to You, and that You protect them from sin and the evil one. Help them to know and obey Your Word and Your Voice.

Lord, we also pray for those who have yet to come to know You, that You would soften their hearts and reveal Yourself to them. We pray for discernment, opportunities, honesty and boldness to share the Gospel as opportunities are made by the Holy Spirit to do so. Help us to be obedient to Your Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

We ask this all in Your precious name, Jesus. We are only able to come before the Father because of Your sacrifice and resurrection. It is in Your name that we have access to God and it is only by Your name that men may be saved. Thank You for this great privilege.

Amen.

Together, let us be encouraged to go and make disciples, to be witnesses for Jesus to the ends of the earth. Let us remember that the harvest is indeed plentiful, and that Jesus is with us always, to the very end of the age. We should explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ when we pray as this is the only way we can access God and be saved. This is also a large part of the basic salvation message. Forgiveness of sin and eternal life is available to all by believing in Jesus Christ.

We join you in lifting up this prayer, dear friend. We echo your plea to the Lord of the Harvest, Jesus, to send out workers into His fields. May He grant them all they need: a deep intimacy with Him, a burning passion for His Word, the ability to obey His Voice, and protection from the temptations and snares of the enemy.

We're reminded of Jesus' words, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest" (Matthew 9:37-38). Let's not forget, He has given us the authority to do this work. He said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20).

Let's also remember the promise of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to be witnesses. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8).

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, asking that You would send out laborers into Your harvest. Equip them, Lord. Draw them close to Your heart. Protect them from the evil one. Help them to know and obey Your Word, and to be bold in sharing the Gospel.

Lord, we also pray for those who have yet to know You. Soft their hearts, Lord. Reveal Yourself to them. Give us discernment, opportunities, and boldness to share the Gospel as the Holy Spirit leads. Help us to be obedient to Your Great Commission.

We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
