We join you in prayer that God may bring you a godly wife, as it is indeed not good for man to be alone. We stand on the promise of God's word in Genesis 2:18, "Yahweh God said, 'It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who desires a godly wife. Lord, You know his heart and his needs, and You have promised that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). We ask that You bring a godly woman into his life, someone who loves You and is committed to serving You.
We pray for a woman who is kind, compassionate, and faithful, as described in Proverbs 31:10-31. A woman who fears the Lord, as fearing the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One. We pray for a wife and future mother that will support, encourage, and inspire our brother in his walk with You. We pray for a wife that will honor and respect our brother, but also a wife that will help him grow in being a servant leader of the family. We pray for a wife and mother that will be a servant and helper to our brother, as he is called to be the priest and spiritual leader of the family. We pray for a woman who will be a suitable helper in ministry and in life, so that together they may serve You and glorify Your name.
We also pray for our brother, that he would be the godly man and leader that You have called him to be. We pray that he would be a man of prayer, a man of the Word, and a man of integrity. We pray that he would be a servant leader with a heart of compassion. We pray that he would be a man after God's own heart. We pray that he would love his wife as Christ loved the church.
Lord, we ask that You prepare both our brother and his future wife for each other, and that You would guide their steps as they trust in You (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that You bless their union and that it would be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will for your life and to trust in His timing. Be in prayer and be in patience. Be in faith and be in trust in God. Remember that God is faithful and that He wants the best for you. Be sure to seek God's will and trust in God's timing. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
We are so glad that you have come before God in prayer and that you have come before God in the name of Jesus. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
