We are glad to join you in prayer for your daughters, believing that God has a plan and a purpose for each of them. We stand on the promise that when we delight ourselves in the Lord, He gives us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4 WEB).
As a group of believers we need to address the fact that God is able to bring two people together. God knows what is best for them. Also, when we pray, we need to pray in Jesus' name.
As your daughters are in their mid- and late-###s, we should pray and encourage them to trust in the Lord's timing. It is never too late for God to work in their lives. We should remind them that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).
Let us encourage them to pursue godliness and purity, remembering that "marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Remind them also, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved sisters in Christ. Lord, You know the deepest desires of their hearts, and You have a plan for each of them. We pray that You would guide them, lead them, and bring godly men into their lives. Men who will love You first, and then love them as Christ loves the Church.
We pray that our sisters would not settle for less than Your best, but would trust in Your timing and Your ways. We ask that You would give them patience, peace, and a deeper understanding of Your love for them.
We pray for their future husbands as well, that they might be men who pursue righteousness, holiness, and godliness. We ask that You would prepare them for their roles as spiritual leaders in their homes.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. It is only in His name that we have access to You for salvation and any other request. Amen."
