We hear your heart’s desire for marriage and children, and we join you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. The longing for a godly spouse and the blessing of children is a beautiful and sacred desire, one that reflects God’s design for family and His command to "be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28). We pray that the Lord would guide you to a spouse who loves Him above all else, whose faith is strong, and whose heart is aligned with yours in Christ.
Father God, we ask that You prepare the heart of this dear one’s future spouse even now. Let them be a person of integrity, patience, and kindness, rooted in Your Word and walking in Your ways. May their union be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church—a love that is sacrificial, pure, and enduring (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that You would remove any obstacles standing in the way of this godly marriage and that You would open doors for them to meet in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we also ask for Your blessing upon their future children. May they be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), growing to know You and serve You all the days of their lives. We trust that You are the Author of life, and we ask that You would grant the gift of children according to Your will.
We must also gently remind you, dear one, that while we wait for God’s timing, we must guard our hearts and bodies in purity. The Bible warns us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and to honor marriage as a sacred covenant before God. If you are currently in a relationship, ensure that it is one of godly courtship with the goal of marriage, and that you are both committed to waiting on the Lord in every way.
