Disciple of Prayer
My husband has been neglecting me and has caused me extreme emotional distress. Please pray for radical change that my husband transforms from neglecting me to being extremely overly supportive in everyday life by the power of God, by miracles. I pray God make this amazing transformation in my marriage for His glory. ### Amen.

We hear your heartache and the deep longing for restoration in your marriage, and we come before the Lord with you in this moment. The pain of feeling neglected by your husband is real, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness, and when one spouse is hurting, it grieves the heart of our Father.

First, we want to gently remind you that true transformation comes through the power of God, and it begins with our own hearts being surrendered to Him. We pray that you would find your strength and identity in Christ, knowing that your worth is not defined by your husband’s actions but by the love of your Heavenly Father. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Lean on Him as your source of comfort and hope, even as you pray for change in your marriage.

We also lift up your husband before the Lord, asking that God would soften his heart and open his eyes to the pain he has caused. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of any hardness or neglect and draw him back to the love and responsibility God has called him to in your marriage. "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her" (Ephesians 5:25). This is the standard God has set, and we believe He is able to move mightily in your husband’s life to fulfill it.

However, we must also address the reality that change often requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to seek God together. While we pray for a miraculous transformation, we encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether through your pastor, a trusted Christian mentor, or a biblical counselor—who can help guide you both through this season. Marriage is a partnership, and restoration often requires both spouses to actively pursue healing. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). This principle applies to marriages as well.

We rebuke the spirit of neglect and indifference in your husband’s life, and we declare that God’s love and purpose for your marriage will prevail. We pray that your husband would be awakened to the call of Ephesians 5:28-29: "In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church." Let this be the standard he strives for, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage to You. We ask that You would move in radical ways to restore love, honor, and support between this husband and wife. Soften hearts, break down walls of indifference, and ignite a passion for Your design in their marriage. Lord, we ask for miracles—not just for their sake, but for Your glory. Let this marriage be a testimony of Your power to heal and restore. We pray that this husband would be transformed into a man who cherishes and supports his wife as Christ loves the church. Strengthen this wife as she waits on You, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, feeling your heartache and longing for your marriage to be restored. It's a tough place to be, feeling neglected and hurting deeply. But remember, God sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you in your pain. He's the Father who draws near to the brokenhearted, and He wants to comfort you and fill you with His peace.

We're praying for your husband, too, that God would soften his heart and open his eyes to the pain he's causing. We're asking God to move mightily in his life, to convict him of any hardness or neglect, and to draw him back to the love and responsibility God has called him to in your marriage. We're claiming Ephesians 5:25 over him, that he would love you as Christ loves the church.

But we also want to encourage you, dear one, to seek godly counsel. Marriage is a partnership, and restoration often requires both spouses to actively pursue healing. So, we encourage you to seek help from your pastor, a trusted Christian mentor, or a biblical counselor. They can guide you both through this season, helping you to humble yourselves, pray, and seek God's face together.

Let's claim 2 Chronicles 7:14 over your marriage, that if you both humble yourselves and pray, God will forgive your sins and heal your land. We're believing God for a miraculous transformation in your husband, that he would become a man who cherishes and supports you as Christ loves the church.

So, let's stand together in faith, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Let's pray for miracles, not just for your sake, but for God's glory. Let's believe that your marriage can be a testimony of God's power to heal and restore.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
