We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and the hearts within it. The struggles you face—anger, control, and the need for peace and healing—are not hidden from our Lord, who sees and knows all things. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:19, *"Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them,"* and in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* Anger that is not surrendered to God can become a foothold for the enemy, and control is not love—it is a distortion of the selfless, sacrificial love Christ calls husbands to display.
We also remember Ephesians 5:25, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her."* A marriage thrives when it reflects Christ’s love—patient, kind, and free from domination. If there is bitterness, unforgiveness, or unrepentant sin, it must be confessed and turned away from, for Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Let us pray that both hearts would be softened by the Holy Spirit, that pride would be broken, and that humility and grace would take root.
For the wife, we pray you would find strength in 1 Peter 3:1-4, *"Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear. Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning... but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."* This does not mean enduring abuse or control, but it does mean trusting God to work through your godly response. If there is fear or harm, we urge you to seek wise, biblical counsel and protection, for God does not call His daughters to remain in danger.
Financially, we claim Philippians 4:19 over you: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* But we also remind you of Proverbs 22:7, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Seek God’s wisdom in stewardship, and trust Him to provide as you honor Him with your resources. Financial breakthrough often comes when we align our hearts with His will, not just in asking, but in obedience.
Most importantly, we must address that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord over your life and marriage. Without Him, no prayer has power, no healing is complete, and no breakthrough will last.
Now, let us pray:

Let him lead as You have called him to—with sacrifice, not domination. Convict him of any anger that does not align with Your will, and let him seek forgiveness where it is needed.
Financially, Lord, we ask for Your provision. Open doors no man can shut, and give them wisdom to steward what You provide. Let them trust You, not in anxiety, but in faith, knowing You hold all things in Your hands.

Draw them to Yourself, Lord, for without You, there is no true healing, no lasting peace, and no eternal hope. Let this marriage be a testimony of Your redemption, a light in a dark world.
