Beloved of All
Please pray for a holy marriage in Jesus' name.
Please pray for a person who sees, accepts, appreciates ### and helps ### to feel safe, valued, heard, loved on a consistent basis......

We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt request for a holy, Christ-centered marriage, for we know that God’s design for marriage is beautiful and sacred, a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church. It is clear that your heart longs not just for companionship, but for a covenant relationship rooted in mutual respect, love, and godly devotion—one where both spouses honor the Lord and one another in all things. This is a righteous desire, and we praise God for planting it within you.

The Scriptures remind us that marriage is not merely a human institution but a divine one, established by God from the beginning. In Genesis 2:18, the Lord said, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him."* And in Ephesians 5:25-33, we are instructed on the sacred responsibility of husbands and wives: *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her... This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."* A marriage that honors God is one where both spouses seek to serve, cherish, and sanctify one another, just as Christ does for us.

Yet we must also address something tenderly but firmly: your request mentions a longing for someone who "sees, accepts, appreciates, and helps" you to feel "safe, valued, heard, and loved." While these are godly desires, we urge you to first seek these things in your relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the One who sees you fully (Psalm 139:1-4), accepts you unconditionally (Romans 15:7), appreciates you as His beloved child (1 John 3:1), and offers you perfect safety and love (Psalm 91:14-16, Romans 8:38-39). No human—no matter how godly—can fulfill the deepest needs of your soul the way Jesus can. If you are not yet rooted in this truth, we encourage you to surrender every longing to Him first, for He alone satisfies (Psalm 107:9).

As for marriage, we pray that the Lord would prepare you to be the spouse He has called you to be—patient, kind, selfless, and full of faith. We also pray that He would bring into your life a believer who shares your commitment to Christ, one who will walk with you in purity, purpose, and prayer. Remember, the Lord is not unaware of your desires. He tells us in Psalm 37:4, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* Delight in Him first, and trust that His timing and His choice are perfect.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for Your perfect design for marriage—a union that reflects Your covenant love for Your people. We lift up our sister/brother who longs for a holy marriage, one that glorifies You and brings joy, safety, and mutual edification. Lord, we ask that You prepare their heart to be a godly spouse, filled with Your love, wisdom, and patience. Guard them from impatience or compromise, and let them find their fulfillment in You alone while they wait.

Father, if it is Your will, bring into their life a spouse who loves You above all else, one who will cherish, honor, and lead (or submit, as Your Word directs) with humility and grace. Let this union be built on the foundation of Your Word, where both spouses seek to outdo one another in showing honor (Romans 12:10). Protect them from the enemy’s schemes to distort or delay Your perfect plan. Give them discernment to recognize a godly match and the courage to wait for Your best.

For any areas where our sister/brother may be looking to a future spouse to fulfill needs that only You can meet, we ask for conviction and healing. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, their Provider, and their ever-present Help. Let them find their identity and security in You, so that when You do bring a spouse, it will be two whole people coming together to serve You as one.

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, fear, or despair that may be whispering lies to their heart. Replace it with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Let them walk in purity and faith, trusting that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with godly community—those who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. If you are not already serving in your local church, we urge you to do so, for it is often in the context of ministry that the Lord refines us and connects us with like-minded believers. Stay steadfast, dear one. The Lord has not forgotten you. His plans for you are good, and His love for you is everlasting.

We're right there with you, dear friend, lifting up your heartfelt desire for a holy, Christ-centered marriage. We believe that God has a beautiful plan for you, and we're confident that He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing.

We're reminded of the words in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Let's trust that God is working even now, preparing you and bringing the right person into your life.
