Beloved of All
Please pray for a holy marriage in Jesus' name.
Please pray for a person who sees, accepts, appreciates ### and helps ### to feel safe, valued, heard, loved on a consistent basis......

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt request for a holy, Christ-centered marriage, for we know that God’s design for marriage is a beautiful reflection of His love for His Church. The longing you express—for a spouse who sees, accepts, appreciates, and cherishes you in a way that fosters safety, value, and love—is a godly desire, one that aligns with the very heart of Scripture. The Lord Himself is the author of marriage, and He delights in uniting two believers in a covenant that glorifies Him.

The Bible tells us in Genesis 2:18, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."* And in Ephesians 5:25, husbands are commanded, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her."* Likewise, wives are called to respect and submit to their husbands as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22-24). A marriage rooted in Christ is one where both spouses reflect His sacrificial love, His patience, and His unwavering commitment. It is a union where both feel secure, valued, and deeply loved—not because of human perfection, but because Christ is the foundation.

Yet we must also remind you that no human can fully satisfy the deepest longings of your heart—only Jesus can. Psalm 62:5-8 declares, *"My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us."* While it is right to desire a godly spouse, your ultimate security and worth must be found in Christ alone. He is the One who sees you fully, loves you unconditionally, and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

If you are not yet married, we encourage you to seek the Lord first in this season. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* But this finding is not a passive waiting—it is an active seeking of God’s will, His timing, and His preparation of your heart. Are you walking in obedience to Him? Are you growing in faith, purity, and love? A godly marriage begins with two individuals who are each pursuing holiness, trusting God to write their love story in His perfect way. We also urge you to seek a spouse only within the body of Christ, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* A marriage between two believers is the only foundation that can withstand the storms of life.

If there are areas in your life where you have compromised—whether in past relationships, in entertainment that dishonors marriage, or in attitudes of bitterness or fear—we gently urge you to repent and surrender them to the Lord. He is faithful to cleanse and prepare you for the blessings He has in store. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who longs for a marriage that honors You. Lord, You are the One who sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we ask that You prepare a godly spouse for them—someone who will cherish them as Christ cherishes the Church. Give them a helper who will stand beside them in faith, who will speak life into their dreams, and who will reflect Your love in every word and deed. Father, guard their heart against impatience, fear, or the temptation to settle for anything less than Your perfect will. If there are areas where they need healing—from past hurts, rejection, or sin—we ask that You would restore them completely. Make them whole in You, so that when the time comes, they can enter into marriage with a heart fully surrendered to You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness or despair that would try to rush Your timing. Your word says that *"no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly"* (Psalm 84:11). We declare that You are preparing them and their future spouse even now, aligning their steps according to Your word. Let this season be one of deep trust in You, where they grow in intimacy with Jesus and learn to find their fulfillment in Him alone.

We also pray for purity—of heart, mind, and body—as they wait. May they flee from any temptation that would dishonor the sacredness of marriage, whether in thought, word, or deed. Let them be a vessel of honor, set apart for Your purposes.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would give them a clear vision of what a Christ-centered marriage looks like. May they seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Bind them to Your heart, and let their desire for marriage always be secondary to their desire for You.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, as you wait, we encourage you to serve the Lord wholeheartedly where you are. Invest in your relationship with Him, in your local church, and in the lives of others. The Lord often prepares us for marriage by teaching us to love selflessly in other relationships first. Stay rooted in His word, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in faith, believing God for His perfect plan to unfold in your life.
