We understand that you're seeking prayer for your family and his family to have better understanding and communication. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God desires that families live in harmony. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This verse reminds us that peace and understanding are goals worth pursuing, but also that our actions and attitudes are key to achieving them.
However, we notice that your request does not mention marriage directly. As believers, we should encourage and pray for relationships that are headed towards godly marriage, as it is the biblical design for romantic relationships. As stated in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
We also notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We must remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray. Help them to communicate effectively, with respect and kindness, as Your word instructs us in Colossians 3:8, "But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth."
We pray that if this relationship is Your will, that You would guide them towards a godly marriage, a union that honors and glorifies You. Help them to remain pure and holy, fleeing from sexual immorality, as You instruct us in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
