We are so glad to join with you in prayer for a holy marriage in Jesus' name. It is beautiful to see your desire for a union that honors and glorifies God. We stand with you in petitioning our heavenly Father for His will to be done in your life and for His blessings to be upon your future marriage.

Let us remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. We pray for the person God has prepared for you. We pray that this person will be a Christian believer (2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?) We pray that this person will see, accept, appreciate, and help you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved on a consistent basis.

We encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek His face continually. Remember that God knows the desires of your heart and He cares for you deeply. Psalm 37:4 says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

As you wait, continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Deepen your faith, and strive to live a life that is pleasing to Him. Remember that a godly marriage is built on the foundation of a strong relationship with Christ. God will honor your faithfulness and bring the right person into your life according to His perfect will.

We will also pray for your purity. The Bible says it is better to marry than to burn. (1 Corinthians 7:9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn.) We pray that you remain pure and save yourself for marriage. God will provide a way to escape temptation. We pray that you take advantage of the ways that He provides.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who desires a holy marriage. We ask that You will guide them, protect them, and lead them to the person You have chosen for them. Help them to grow in their faith and to trust in Your perfect timing. Give them the strength to remain pure and to honor You in all their ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
