We are truly grateful to join you in prayer and to seek God's will for your life. We can see the deep longing in your heart for companionship and marriage, and we want to assure you that God sees it too. He knows the desires of your heart and He wants to fulfill them in His perfect timing.
Firstly, we want to commend you for seeking a spouse for marriage and not just a partner for a relationship. This aligns with biblical principles, as marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God himself. As it is written in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."
We also want to address the loneliness you're feeling. We understand that it's a very real and painful emotion, but we want to remind you that you are never truly alone. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promised, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." He is with you every moment of every day, and He loves you more than anyone else ever could.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who longs for a spouse and a family. Father, You know the depth of their loneliness and their desire for companionship. We ask that You comfort them in their solitude and reveal to them 'the one' You have prepared for them.
Lord, we pray that You cause them to meet and talk this month, that they may start their journey together in Your perfect timing. We ask that You give them a spirit of discernment, that they may recognize 'the one' You have chosen for them.
We also pray for their future spouse, that You may prepare their heart and make them a helper who sees, accepts, appreciates, and helps their spouse to feel safe, valued, heard, and loved on a consistent basis.
Father, we ask that their marriage be a testament to Your love and grace, a union that honors and glorifies You. We ask that they live in such a way that people see Your love reflected in their marriage and are drawn to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue waiting on the Lord. In Psalm 37:4, it is written, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Keep delighting in Him, keep seeking Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart in His perfect timing.
Until then, remember that God is working behind the scenes. He is preparing your heart and the heart of your future spouse for each other. He is orchestrating events that will bring you two together. Trust in Him and His timing.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
