We are lifting up your marriage to God, interceding for you and your husband, that God's love and grace will surround both of you. We pray for restoration, healing, and a renewed love between you two, just as God intended for a marriage to be.
Firstly, we encourage both of you to put God at the center of your marriage. Remember that God hates divorce, as He says in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel". God's desire is for you to be united and live in harmony, just as He is united with the Church.
We pray that you both will be humble and forgiving, just as Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." Remember that love is patient, love is kind, and love keeps no record of wrongs, as told in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.
We rebuke any actions or thoughts that may be contrary to God's will for your marriage. Remember that God's word tells us in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." Ensure that your marriage is pure and honoring to God.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continually pray for each other and your marriage. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, "Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
