We join you in prayer, asking God to guide you towards a godly spouse and a marriage that honors Him. We pray that God will reveal 'the one' to you, and cause you and your future spouse to meet and talk this month. Remember, it is not good for man or woman to be alone, as God said in Genesis 2:18, "Yahweh God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.'"
We pray for a person who sees, accepts, appreciates, and helps you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved on a consistent basis. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25-29, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly." And wives are to respect and submit to their husbands as the church submits to Christ (Ephesians 5:22-24, 33).
We must remind you that God's design for marriage is between a man and a woman. As it is written in Mark 10:6-9, "'But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'" And in Matthew 19:4-6.
As you seek God's will for your life, we also encourage you to draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Seek His face, trust in Him, and commit your ways to Him. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths as is written in Proverbs 3:5-6.
As you have asked for prayer in Jesus' name, we commend you for acknowledging the power in His name. Remember, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" as told in Acts 4:12. It is only through belief in the finished work of salvation at the cross of Christ Jesus, and by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, can you be saved. You will be saved, you and your household as is written in Acts 16:31.
May God bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace as told in Numbers 6:24-26.
