Marriage Woes

We have been married for 16 years and although we both claim to be born again, me being a preacher, she wants a divorce. Nouthetic counsel showed her her errors and no grounds for divorce, she wants one anyway to include getting a protective order against me which was disproven in court. The local church is ready for church discipline which is proper but I believe she will use that as another reason. Pray for godly heart changes.

Heavenly Father, I ask that You would be with this family and overwhelm them with Your goodness, Your love, and Your presence. Let them truly know You on a deeper level and help them to be everything You have called them to be. Lord, help us to be good stewards for Your Kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, that our Dear Lord will see you through your difficult situations, when you are discouraged and full of unspeakable fear. I ask you Lord Jesus that you walk beside your children during those hard times. They cannot carry their burdens, but we know that You can and You will, oh God.

 

I pray that You guide your children and help them to stay strong no matter what comes their way. I also pray that You help their faith to get stronger and that your children continue to grow in You. In Your Love and Your Holy Spirit, we abide, Amen.

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalms 34:17).
