Dear God I want to marry the man I love after divorcing my husband who is not in my life. Please let it happen. I am stuck in between

However, we also recognize that there are circumstances where divorce may be permitted due to unrepentant adultery or abandonment by an unbelieving spouse, as outlined in Matthew 5:32 and 1 Corinthians 7:15 (WEB). Without knowing the details of your situation, it's crucial to examine your motives and ensure that you have biblical grounds for divorce.

Regarding your desire to marry another man, it's essential to proceed with caution. If your current husband is still alive and you have not divorced yet, or do not have biblical grounds for divorce then you are still married in God's eyes. We are praying for God's will to be done in your life, and that you will seek Him first in all your decisions.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We know that You desire marriage to be a lifelong commitment, and we ask for Your guidance in her situation. If there's any chance for reconciliation in her current marriage, we pray that You would soften hearts and bring restoration. If not, we ask that You would make Your will clear regarding the path forward.

Help her to seek You first and to desire Your will above her own. Guide her steps and give her wisdom as she navigates this difficult season. We pray that You would surround her with godly counsel and support.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His will for your life. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can offer support, advice, and accountability. Remember that God's plan for you is good, and He wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We also want to mention the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, so including Jesus in your prayers and daily life is crucial. As Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
