We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry for marriage restoration, for we know that what God has joined together, no man should separate. Your plea is heard, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
The Word of God reminds us in **Malachi 2:16**, *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Therefore watch yourselves carefully, and don’t be unfaithful.* Marriage is a covenant before God, and He desires reconciliation and healing. In **1 Corinthians 7:10-11**, we are instructed, *"To the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."*
We also remember the promise in **Jeremiah 32:27**, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Nothing is impossible for our God, and He is able to soften hearts, bring repentance, and restore what has been broken. However, we must also acknowledge that restoration requires surrender to His will, obedience to His Word, and a heart that seeks Him above all else.
If there has been sin in this marriage—whether unforgiveness, bitterness, adultery, or any other transgression—we urge you to seek the Lord in repentance. **1 John 1:9** tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Restoration begins with a heart that is right before God. Have you examined your own heart in this matter? Are there areas where you need to seek forgiveness, not only from God but also from your husband? Humility and a willingness to take responsibility for your own actions can open the door for God to work mightily.
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing. It can be painful to wait, but **Psalm 37:7** instructs us, *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."* Your faith is being tested, but God is faithful. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working even when you cannot see it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who longs for the restoration of her marriage. Lord, You are the God of miracles, the One who heals broken hearts and restores what has been torn apart. We ask that You would soften the heart of her husband and draw him back to You and to the covenant of marriage. Remove any hardness, bitterness, or deception that may be hindering reconciliation. Convict both of them of any sin that needs to be repented of, and grant them the grace to forgive as You have forgiven us.
Father, we pray that You would reunite this family in a way that brings glory to Your name. Let this restoration be a testimony of Your power and faithfulness. Strengthen our sister in her faith, Lord. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in You completely. If there are areas in her life where she needs to grow or change, reveal them to her and give her the strength to walk in obedience.
We rebuke any spiritual forces that seek to destroy this marriage. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind every scheme of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, fasting, and reading His Word. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you. If your husband is not a believer, remember **1 Peter 3:1-2**, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."* Your godly conduct and unwavering faith can be a powerful witness.
Stay steadfast, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.
