We are truly saddened to hear about the troubles in this marriage, but we are encouraged by the faith in Jesus' name that has been expressed. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for this situation.

Firstly, let us remember what God's word says about marriage. And He answered, Have you not read that He who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? Matthew 19:4-5 WEB

And also, For the Lord, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce and him who covers his garment with violence! says the Lord of Hosts. Therefore keep watch to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously. Malachi 2:16 WEB

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this marriage to You. We pray for restoration, for love to be rekindled, and for trust and forgiveness to be established. We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit on both husband and wife, baptizing them afresh with Your presence. Wash them and cleanse their marriage of anything that is not pleasing to You.

We stand against divorce, Lord, as we know that You hate it. We cancel any assignments of the enemy to destroy this marriage and we pray for Your will to be done. Please give them wisdom to talk with each other, listen to each other and make the best decisions as a couple together for their marriage. Please give them strength to love and forgive each other as You have forgiven us. Help them to be the husband and wife You created them to be. Teach them to live with each other as You have created them to be. If they have trouble with this, please give them the humility to seek out help from Christian counselors, pastors, family and friends. Your word tells us that a triple braided cord is not easily broken Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB, so please help them include You, Jesus Christ, as the third cord in their marriage. Help them to understand that You are the only way to the Father and that nobody can see God unless they believe in You. John 14:6 WEB

Please also lead them to be in a church that helps them learn more about You and apply what they learn to their marriage. We're so thankful that this request was submitted in Jesus' name. If either the husband or wife have not truly accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them and draw them to salvation.

And finally please also help them to remember that marriage is a commitment for life and that it is God's plan to live together in marriage as a man and woman to have children and raise them to know and love You. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage both husband and wife to seek God's face earnestly during this time. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8 WEB. Spend time in His word, in prayer, and in worship. Be open to His leading and obedient to His guidance.

Remember, brothers and sisters, that God can restore what is broken, He has the ability to heal and restore this marriage just as He raised Jesus from the dead. But we must believe that He can do this and act accordingly.

Trust in Him, and know that He is more than able to bring restoration and redemption to this situation. Let us all remember that God is faithful to His Word!

Keep seeking God together, and don't forget to lean on your church family and trusted friends for support. We're all in this together, and we're believing with you for a beautiful, restored marriage.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
