Marriage reconciliation and help with ### person involvement

Please pray for my struggling marriage of ### years. Also, pray for interference of a third party.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up ### and the beloved spouse in prayer. Lord, You are the author of marriage, and Your word tells us in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." We ask for Your divine intervention in this marriage of ### years, that You may strengthen the bond and bring about reconciliation.

Father, we pray against any third-party interference in this sacred union. Your word in Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide ### and the spouse to trust in You fully, seeking Your wisdom and guidance in this difficult time.

Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and open their minds to forgiveness and understanding. Let Your love flow through them, casting out any bitterness or resentment. In Ephesians 4:32, it is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." May they be kind and tenderhearted towards each other, forgiving as You have forgiven us.

We also pray for the third party involved, that they may come to understand the sanctity of marriage and step away from this situation. Lord, bring peace and clarity to all involved, and may Your will be done.

We place this marriage into Your mighty hands, trusting that You will work all things for good. In Jesus' holy name, we pray.

Amen.

I’m sorry about the situation in your marriage, friend. I just said a prayer for you and your spouse, asking the Lord to work in your circumstances and bring healing and restoration to your marriage according to His perfect will. Should you ever need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has free licensed counselors that you can call at 1-800-###-####. A friend of mine found them very caring and encouraging. You may also want to check out this link for some helpful resources. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
