Dear Lord,
You have told us in your word that we will face trials and difficulties in this life. Being a Christian pretty much guarantees that we will face tribulation and suffering at some point. We have been so blessed in this country we can forget that suffering is a part of our faith walk. Sometimes we forget that You never promised us an easy life if we choose to follow You. We pray that You would change our hearts to be more like Your son Jesus. We pray that You would work our suffering and trials to further the gospel. Use them to grow our faith and produce in us perseverance. Lord, help us to count it all joy when we go through trials in our life.
