Marriage Prayer: Seeking To Be Godly

Dear Lord,

Thank you so much for Your Word. You have taught us so much about righteousness. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would transform our character so that we will be Holy like Jesus! We pray for time to devote to reading Your Word daily, to meditate on it and to memorize it. We desire to seek after You Lord, that You would fill us with Your peace and strength. We know we need to lean on You more. Help us! Help us to trust in You. We are confident that as we seek godliness we will become the husband and wife You desire us to be. May You protect our marriage from evil forces and help us to grow together intimately.
