Marriage Prayer: Receiving His Love Today

Dear Lord,

Often your love is not received because we think that your love for us is based on how well we love or obey You. But what we need to understand is that Your love for us is based completely on what Your son Jesus did for us on the cross. Remind us daily that You love us just like You love your son. We can do nothing that would separate us from the love of Christ. Knowing this compels me to love You even more.
