Marriage, Job and breakthrough from struggle

Maheswari_S

Servant of All
All praise be to our God. Let us pray for the above requests to our God via Jesus! Amen!

Please pray for the following continuously

(1) I am believing that our God will provide permanent government/public sector job positions to our family members according to their educational and professional qualifications. Faith in our God that He will provide our family members the best permanent government/public sector job positions enable them to explain regarding our God's Glory which God has done in their life to their patients. One member is working a temporary/contract job and they have to pay the monthly salary on time, since they are delaying to pay the salary. Also, he tried another temporary govt job in another institution and the screening test/written test on Friday. So continuous prayer is required to get the Interview call for the job and to get the job position and moreover, there should not be any problem or any obstacles from his HOD or anybody and anything to leave the existing job and get the full settlement immediately after getting the new job in another reputed institution.

Another family member to get a temporary govt. job urgently and she will wait for a Permanent Govt. Job. Both are waiting for permanent govt. job positions till God's Time & Will.

(2) Faith in our God who will show us a better spiritually, Godly bridegroom for my family member, who will be a doctor with handsome earnings with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habit according to the Bible and also the marriage will occur at the earliest possible. Awaiting for God's Order, since We are seeking a Godly doctor with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habits and good earnings.

(3) We have paid a big amount to a person for a house lease purpose and at that time the owner of the house committed and promised to handover the house to us within fifteen days. But after a month also he has not handed over the house to us and hence, we have asked him to return our full amount. He told that he will pay the amount after getting the amount from another person who is willing to take the lease of the house. He committed and promised that till such time he will pay our house rent to us. We asked him that pay only bank interest as we have taken a gold loan from the bank. But he refused that he will not pay the interest to us. Then we agreed that as your (House owner) commitment and promise by you pay the house rent to us till such period. After his commitment and promises, he has not yet paid the house rent to us for the period. Now it is crossed more than a year (more than 15 months) passed. Till today, he has not paid the house rent. Bank interest is also increasing day by day. Which is a huge amount and we cannot able to arrange to pay the interest to the bank. Please pray for us that the house rent for 8 (eight) months are enough to us or bank full interest with additional amount payable (processing charges, admin charges, inspection charges, conveyance is also enough to us to manage the things smoothly.

Hope and Faith that our God will order the person and By God's Grace the full amount will be paid to us immediately without any loss.

The Liar, Cheater (wicked) is telling "I cannot give your money back immediately or urgently" "He is telling wait wait". Almost 15 Months (one year and three months) and have been passed. It is unjust. Is this justice? God have to punish him as under:

(a) Physical Punishment - (i) to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is a lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(ii) if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never he should not get any job up to death.
(iii) the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot able to tell lie, cheating.
(iv) the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never it should be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands
(v) the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.

(f) Material Punishment - (I) the wicked person & his wife's own house should be fall-down in the ground/earth and fully destroyed/demolished.
(II) if the wicked person & his wife's are doing/running business, then heavy financial loss should occur.
(III) if the wicked person & his wife's should be cheated by anybody 10 (Ten) time more that what wicked have cheated us.

Then only he never ever cheat anybody. God have to admit them into His punishment of the above enable them to realize what they have done wrong, cheating, lie, fraud. But he and his wife should not go to die and God have not destroy such kind of wicked people/persons and they have to live with the above sufferings which is justice? After this suffering only they may repent and turn to God.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be given to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our house rent with bank interest and after repent and turn to God.

I asked our God that "Why the Honest should suffer? Why the wicked, Liar, fraud, cheater persons are not punished? If there is no punishment from God to the wicked person, then How the repent and turn to God? If punishment is not given by God the Wicked people, then how they fear to God? If no fear to God, then they will do more and more wicked things. God have to give a punishment to them that will Glory to our God.

In some place in the Bible mentioned like this "The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy"
Habakkuk 1:13 – “Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?”

I am waiting for the Justice from God. Nobody knows when the punishment or Justice will be happened. God have to give punishment immediately to this wicked person. so that he will not do many more. If God is not giving punishment, then again and again he will do the same wicked things. I am faith with God that He will punish the wicked person in such a manner that he has to fear to God now itself. Otherwise he will do the same thing to others and again and again. If God have given punishment immediately enable him not to do such kind of things in future. Otherwise God will give a big punishment which he cannot able to tackle or solve.

Due to this our family cannot able to sleep daily night. Also misunderstanding within our family. As per his activities, he never ever repent. Due to his behaviour, definitely he will not repent to God. Without big Punishment, it is very very difficult to repent this wicked, fraud, cheater will repent.

Also God have to give punishment to that wicked person, who is believing that God is NOWHERE. If he believe that God is NOW HERE, then he will not tell lies and cheat anybody. Until he is getting punishment, he will again and again do this wicked things to many peoples. As per his activities, he never repent. If God is not giving punishment, then on what ground we will have faith with God. Hence, God have to give severe punishment to that person enable him not to do this kind of things to any other person/s in future.

This person and his wife is telling only Lies and whatever the speaks with us are false or Lies only. We enquired around their residential houses regarding that wicked person, fraud person, cheater and his wife also telling lies and she is also supporting his husband. So both are definitely not repent. Without God's big punishment, they will not realize their mistakes and wickedness, cheating. Awaiting for the God's big punishment from only they will repent. Otherwise there is no use and Satan will involve. They never repent again turn to God. Awaiting response from our God urgently and immediately, since I don't have put faith God further.

1 day of God is equal to 1000 years to Human and 1000 years of Human is equivalent to 1 day for God. That means there is No Grace will be to human from God till their death! There is No Mercy from God. Till human death they have to suffer if anybody is Honest. Wicked will Prosper and they will enjoy like anything and then they will die happily.

It is clearly understood that in that case God cannot do any good thing to the honest, since God is silent. God is only seeing the wickedness not acting the righteousness or justice. God is some count slowness, which means inactive. God is powerless, which means no power with him and Satan have power. Now God cannot able to do Miracles, since Satan is doing miracles in the earth. God can hear the requests of the honest, but will not to do justice and he will wait until the death of the wicked person, Liar, Cheater and fraud. God will do the judgement once the wicked person, liar, cheater and fraud when died.

What Prayer Warriors are saying is that Wait for God's Time and God's Time is Perfect. But live in the earth, it is not at all wait for the God's Time and it will come after death. Because God's Time will be very very very slow at the life is very very very early as per bible, since once upon a time the life was very long like 800 years 600 years and it was now decreased to 75 to 100 years and also the average age will be 50 - 60 years only. Hence, once any human wait for the God's Time, then that will be after their death only. This is point number one. Secondly, wait for God's Will. When the God's Will be means it will also before very near to their death and they cannot able to rejoice. Once the God's Will be given to a human, he will not happy, since they cannot able to enjoy or happy due to their age and they cannot able to avail the enjoyment. Thirdly, God's Grace. This will for the wicked person and liar, cheater, fraud and cheater, since they have to repent from their sin and thats why God will wait up to their death. Fourthly Mercy and which will be also for the liar, cheater, fraud and wicked persons only and not for the honest and Godly or God feared persons. God will punish some count with Honest persons in the way the person cannot able to identify or in such a way they cannot determine or find or unaware ways or can't understandable ways. No wicked, cheater, liar will be punished, since God will wait and slowness. In that why the honest should be suffer and we can also be do the wicked things, and God will not punish and wait for us till we repent and by that time our die will occur and within that period we can enjoy, rejoice, happy and without restless, sleeplessness fearlessness.

Is God is inactive, since there is no justice to me and our families. Is God is alive or not. Is God is dead are what. Is God is a stone which is in the Well? If so, there will not be any action. Is God is faithful. No, He is not faithful. Is God is powerless, since there is no improvement or development spiritually as well as earthly in physical life. Is God is Merciless, since there is no requests are fulfilled. Is God is Graceless, since none of the requests are fruitful. Is God is in Wicked peoples like Liar, Cheater, Fraud or Cheater, since there are no prayer request are fulfilled but wicked persons are prosper each and every day and jouful in their life. Is God can now do any Miracles in the earth. No. the Miracles were happened 2000 years before. Now God cannot able to do any Miracles, since now God is powerless, but Satan is powerful as per Bible.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Jesus is Lord, and we approach God with faith, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

First, we lift up the need for stable employment for your family members. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide permanent positions in government or public sectors that align with their qualifications and allow them to be a light for Your glory. For the one working a temporary job with delayed payments, we pray for Your provision and favor. May the screening test yield success, and may any obstacles from supervisors or institutions be removed by Your mighty hand. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust You to settle all accounts fairly and swiftly. For the family member awaiting a temporary position, we ask for urgency in this matter, Lord, and that You would sustain them with patience and hope as they wait for Your perfect timing.

Father, we also lift up the desire for a godly spouse for your family member. We pray for a bridegroom who is a man of integrity, walking in the fear of the Lord, with good habits and a heart after You. May he be a doctor who uses his profession to glorify You, and may this marriage be established in Your will, bringing joy and unity. We declare that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22). Guide this process, Lord, and let Your will be done in this matter.

Now, we come to the matter of the broken agreement and the financial strain it has caused. Father, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this situation. The Word declares that the wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously (Psalm 37:21). We pray that this man and his wife would be convicted of their deceit and moved to make restitution. Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and lead them to repentance, not only for their sake but for the sake of Your name. We declare that the borrower is slave to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), and we ask that You break any chains of bondage this situation has created.

However, we must address the spirit of vengeance and the requests for severe punishment that have been lifted up. While we understand the depth of pain and frustration, we are called to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. We must trust that God’s justice is perfect and that He will deal with the wicked in His time and in His way. Our role is not to demand punishment but to pray for repentance and restoration. Father, we ask that You help us to release this burden into Your hands, trusting that You see all and will act justly.

We also must address the doubts and questions raised about God’s character. It is understandable to feel abandoned in times of suffering, but we must stand on the truth of God’s Word. The Lord is not slow concerning His promises, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). God is not inactive, nor is He powerless. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and His arm is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). The delay in justice is not a sign of God’s weakness but of His mercy, giving time for repentance. We must not harden our hearts but trust in His faithfulness, even when we do not see immediate results.

Father, we pray for peace in your home. The stress of this situation has caused sleepless nights and family strife, but we declare that You are the God of peace (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You restore unity and bring comfort to each member of the family. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for financial provision to cover the bank interest and any other pressing needs. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also rebuke the spirit of doubt and unbelief that has crept in. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. We declare that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). We choose to trust in You, Lord, even when circumstances seem impossible. Strengthen our faith, and help us to wait on You with hope.

Finally, we pray for the wicked man and his wife. Father, we ask that You would break their hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. May they come to know You as Savior and Lord, turning from their deceitful ways. We pray that You would use this situation to draw them to Yourself, for Your glory.

We commit all these requests into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for good. We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your justice, and Your love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

The weight of what you have described is real, a family member’s job uncertainty, the long delay over the house money, the sleepless nights and the strain it has brought inside your home. That load feels unbearable right now, and we are not going to treat it as small.

When a wrong has dragged on for more than a year and the money you need is locked away while interest piles up, the ache for justice can consume every quiet moment. Right now what seems heaviest is the house‑lease situation, so we want to anchor our reply there. We would gently encourage you to take one concrete step alongside prayer: get clear, practical advice on how to pursue your money through proper channels, a trusted legal aid clinic, a community advice center, or a level‑headed professional who can look at the paperwork and tell you what real options exist. That is not a lack of faith; it is acting on the wisdom God gives.

You also mentioned that the stress has stolen sleep from your household. That is a serious physical toll, and speaking with a doctor about what your body is going through is a wise move, not a spiritual failure.

We hear the raw, aching questions underneath your words, “Is God just? Does He see?”, and we sit with you in that hard place. Bitterness this deep feels deserved, but we have seen over and over that nursing it only tightens its grip on the person holding it, not on the one who did the wrong. The most freeing next step you can take right now may be simply to tell the Lord, “I am handing the heavy work of justice over to You. I cannot carry it and function. Please lift this bitterness off my own back while You deal with what is right.”

We pray with you now.

Father, You see this family and the long months of waiting and loss. We ask You to make a way where they see no way, for the full return of what is owed, for relief from the mounting financial pressure, and for steady, suitable work for those who need it. Grant them real rest at night. Most of all, lift the crushing bitterness, and let them know You have not left them alone in this dark place. In Jesus’ name.

Such a cry of anguish laid before the throne of grace cannot go unheeded, yet I must speak plainly, for the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart. Your present trial is heavy, and I do not make light of it. The delay of justice, the piling up of interest, the broken promises of a faithless man, these things would try any soul. But what grieves me far more is the bitter gall that has sprung up in your own spirit. You have asked for the hands of the wicked to be cut off, for their tongue to be decayed, for calamity upon their children. Have you forgotten who it is that said, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you”? To call down physical and material curses upon another is not the voice of a heart that has been to Calvary. Our Master, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.

You demand that God punish this man immediately, that He prove His justice by visible wrath upon your adversary. But consider: God’s patience is not weakness, but mercy. He waits to be gracious. He waits that the wicked might have space to repent. You quote Habakkuk, who cried, “Why do you tolerate the treacherous?” Yet remember how the Lord answered him: “The just shall live by his faith.” God’s timetable is not ours. It is true that a thousand years are as a day to Him, but that is not a denial of justice, it is the measure of His forbearance, that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. You ask, “Is God alive?” Look to the cross. There the Son of God cried, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?” There the full penalty of sin was laid upon the spotless Lamb. There divine justice was satisfied, not by maiming the limbs of sinners, but by bruising His own Son. If you would see God’s righteous anger against sin, behold that sight. There mercy and truth met together; righteousness and peace kissed each other. To demand that God amputate hands or destroy houses is to forget that you yourself deserved nothing less than eternal ruin, yet the Lord has held back His wrath and offered you grace through Jesus Christ.

You cry out that the honest suffer and the wicked prosper. This is an old complaint, and the psalmist himself stumbled over it until he went into the sanctuary of God; then he understood their end. They stand in slippery places; they are brought into desolation in a moment. But you do not need to call down judgment, God has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He has ordained. Leave the sword in God’s hand. Your feverish desire for immediate retribution reveals that your own heart needs humbling. Pride can dress itself in the garb of a justice-seeker, but “God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.” Oh, lie low before the Lord! Confess this vengeful spirit as sin. Your darkest hour may become the birth pang of a sweeter communion with God if you will but cease from your own strivings and wait upon Him.

Waiting upon God is not passive futility; it is the posture of faith. My soul, wait thou only upon God. Be silent before Him. Rest calm and undisturbed. The Lord is a God of judgment; blessed are all they that wait for Him. He sees the end from the beginning, and He knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. Your business is not to dictate to the Almighty what His penalties should be, but to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. He will make all things plain. The Lord can turn the heart of the oppressor like rivers of water. He can restore what the locust has eaten. But if you persist in demanding curses, you close your own mouth in prayer for your own needs. How can you ask for the Holy Spirit’s help for a godly marriage while breathing out slaughter against your brother? Put away all wrath and clamor and evil speaking. Forgive, as Christ forgave you. That is the miracle of grace, that a man enabled by the Spirit can release his debtor from the gall of bitterness and leave the matter entirely with God.

As for the temporal requests, the permanent positions, the daily bread, the house and the marriage, these are matters upon which you may freely cast your burden upon the Lord. He cares for you. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget your family’s needs. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Let not your prayers be choked with thorns of resentment. Approach the mercy seat through the blood of Jesus, and ask in His name for those things which are according to His will. Then wait. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord. He will answer in His own time, which is the best time. He has promised that those who wait upon Him shall not be ashamed.

You say your faith is failing, that God seems silent and inactive. Ah, but the God of the hills is also the God of the valleys. When you are in the low places, He is just as near. When the darkness covers you, trust His unchanging character. He is faithful who promised. The cross is proof enough that He both loves and is just. Go to your God, poor soul, when you are out of order; wait on the Lord and He will strengthen your heart by His mysterious power. Cease from the feverish calculations of how the wrong should be righted; leave that with Him. He is the Lord; let Him do what is good in His eyes. Your part is to walk humbly, to forgive, to continue in prayer, and to set your hope wholly upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. May the Lord incline you to this, for Christ's sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What is this torrent of rage and venom you have poured out before God? You ask why the wicked prosper while you suffer, and you demand immediate, savage punishments: hands cut off, tongues decayed, houses destroyed, jobs lost, children ruined. Is this the prayer of a disciple of the Crucified? He who when reviled did not revile in return, but entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly. Yet you, calling yourself a believer, not only petition for curses but dare to judge God Himself, calling Him powerless, silent, unjust, slower than a stone in a well. Open your ears: this is not the voice of faith but the howl of wounded pride, a frenzy that makes you no different from those you call wicked.

You cry for justice, but have you considered what strict justice would mean for you? If God were to mark every transgression, none of us could stand. We would have perished instantly at the first sin. His very delay with that debtor is kindness, giving him space to repent. The parable of the marriage feast shows the king sending servant after servant to those who spurned his invitation, until at last the ungrateful were destroyed not by caprice but by their own obstinate rejection. This man who cheated you is like those who made light of the call and went to their money and fields. God endures him for now, not because He is blind, but because He would draw him to amendment. If he refuses, his end will come in due time, and it will be more terrible than all you imagine. But you, by your bitter imprecations, are refusing the wedding garment of mercy. Beware lest you be cast into outer darkness yourself, gnashing your teeth in the same rage that now consumes you.

You speak of sleepless nights and family strife caused by this fraud. Do not add to the evil by letting anger fester until it drives out every trace of holiness. “Follow peace with all men,” the Apostle commands, “and holiness.” That means not only chastity in marriage but a heart cleansed of murderous desire. When you ruminate on how this man’s wife should lose her tongue or his children’s education be ruined, you are making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. Such thoughts are a foul stench in the nostrils of God, worse than the noise of harlots at a wedding feast. You are willing to defile your own soul in pursuit of another’s pain. What profit is it to you if he is maimed, but your own spirit becomes a cripple? Learn to control your outbursts; quell the shouting of your heart. A quiet spirit is the only soil in which the fruit of the Spirit can grow.

You say God’s time is so slow that a man dies before help arrives, that His grace is only for the wicked, that the honest suffer while the treacherous dance. This is the talk of one who has forgotten that this life is but a dream. In a dream a man may become rich and then wake to poverty; here, the sinner’s prosperity is fleeting and his punishment eternal. Your eyes are fixed on bank interest and rented houses, as though these were the sum of existence. Christ did not die to make you comfortable in your earthly tent. He calls you to a kingdom where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where justice will be done perfectly. But if you demand that He act according to your schedule, you are telling the Creator of time that you know better than He. Job lost everything and sat on an ash heap, yet he did not charge God with injustice. You have lost money and endured a liar’s broken promises, but you still have Christ. Which is the greater treasure?

As for the righteous spouse you seek, take care that you are not infected by the same love of gain you condemn in others. You ask for a doctor with “handsome earnings” and “good habits.” Is that the portrait of a godly husband? Seek first one who fears the Lord and pursues holiness, for marriage is honorable only when it is kept pure. A large income without the fear of God is a curse in disguise. Train your desires, and pray not for riches but for a companion in the faith who will help you toward heaven. For those waiting for jobs, cast your anxiety on God, but do not make a public salary your idol. The birds neither sow nor reap, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are worth more than many sparrows, but only if your treasure is laid up on high, not in government posts.

You wait for God to act, and you think He is silent. But perhaps He is waiting for you: waiting for you to release your grip on rage, to forgive the debt as you have been forgiven, to trust that He who walked on the sea and stilled the storm can calm this tempest in your household. Do not say, “God is dead,” because your prayers seem unanswered. The deafness is in your heart, clogged with the noise of curses. Go, make your soul quiet. Lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting. Pray for that man, not that his hands be cut off but that they be opened to restore what is owed. Seek not his misery but his repentance, and leave his punishment to the righteous Judge. Then your sleep will be sweet, your family at peace, and your faith strengthened, so that when the Bridegroom comes, you may enter the feast with joy instead of having your lamp extinguished for lack of oil.

This is not a small thing you are carrying, and the weight of waiting while seeing no resolution can crush hope and twist faith into something raw and hurting. You have laid out your requests with deep honesty, and behind the cry for jobs and marriage and money lies a deeper cry: Is God just? Is God good? Is God even paying attention? That is the real ache, and it deserves a real answer.

Faith is not seeing the answer arrive on our schedule. It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That means faith itself is the title deed in your hand when you possess nothing else. It is the proof in your heart while your bank account bleeds and the liar keeps smiling. The world only sees what is visible, but faith sees further. It sees the God who warned Noah of judgment before a drop of rain had ever fallen, and Noah acted on that word for decades while nothing seemed to change. The proving of faith is never for God’s benefit; He already knows what is in us. The testing is for us, to let patience have its perfect work, to show us whether we will trust the character of God when we cannot trace His hand.

Look at Abraham. He was given promises so vast that all nations would be blessed through him, yet he waited twenty-five years for the son of promise. He stumbled. He went down to Egypt in a lapse of faith. He tried to help God out through Hagar. And yet when the New Testament holds him up as the father of all who believe, it does not list his failures. It lists his triumphs. God accounted his faith for righteousness. Why? Because Abraham believed God, and that believing was credited to him apart from works, apart from perfect performance. The righteousness that saves is not earned by your patience or your flawless trust; it is given through faith in Jesus Christ, who kept perfect faith on your behalf and bore the curse for every failure.

The trouble in your words is not that you want justice. God wants justice far more than you do. But when you prescribe exactly how God must punish the one who cheated you, you place yourself in the seat of judge and demand that He act on your terms and your timeline. That is not faith; it is a demand for control. Yes, the Scriptures say the Lord watches over all who love him, but the wicked He will destroy. Yes, Habakkuk cried out, “Why do you tolerate the treacherous?” And God answered Habakkuk not by giving him a checklist of immediate punishments, but by revealing that the just shall live by faith while they wait. The judgment is certain, but the timing belongs to the Lord, who is patient for reasons we cannot see, giving space for repentance even when we are sure none will come.

The justice you long for was fully met at the cross. Either your sins and the sins of that man were laid on Jesus, or they will be paid for eternally. But if you demand that God’s righteousness be proven by the physical suffering of that man and his wife, his children, his job, his hands, his tongue, then you are asking God to operate on a different principle than the one by which you yourself hope to be saved. You were saved by grace through faith, not by works, and the mercy you received is the mercy you are called to extend, even while seeking what is rightfully yours. That does not mean being passive or pretending no wrong was done. It means releasing vengeance to the only One who wields it perfectly, and praying instead, “Lord, You see. I trust my cause to You.”

James teaches plainly that faith without works is dead. A faith that merely says “I believe” but does not change how we love, how we forgive, how we speak when we are wronged, is a corpse. True faith gives feet to what we profess. It prays for enemies rather than calling down curses on their children. It refuses to return evil for evil because it trusts that God will set all accounts right in the end. Some of the heroes of faith conquered kingdoms, shut the mouths of lions, and received their dead raised to life. Others, with the same faith, were tortured, destitute, afflicted. They all died in faith, not having received the fullness of what was promised here, but they greeted it from afar and considered God faithful. Your hope cannot rest on getting the money back by next month, or on watching that man suffer as you have specified. Your hope must rest on the resurrection of Jesus, which guarantees that no wrong will go unaddressed, no tear unremembered, no theft unrepaid in the new creation.

When you say that God’s timing makes Him powerless or absent, you are measuring eternal purposes with a broken clock. A thousand years are as a day to Him, not because He is slow, but because He is patient, not willing that any should perish, and He is working a weight of glory for you that this present trouble is preparing, though you cannot see it yet. The delay is not denial. The silence is not indifference. The Man of Sorrows knows exactly what it is to be cheated, lied about, and abandoned to suffering without immediate rescue, and He endured it to bring you to God.

Bring your requests for jobs and marriage before the throne. It is right and good to ask persistently. Cry out for financial breakthrough and for the return of what was taken. But also pray this: “Lord, give me such confidence in Your justice and Your love that I can leave the punishing in Your hands. Free me from bitterness, which is eating me alive. Let me see the log in my own eye even as I point to the speck in his. Teach me what it means that the just shall live by faith, not by sight, not by my own vindication. I believe; help my unbelief.” When you pray for the other family member’s spouse, ask for a godly man who fears the Lord, not merely a doctor with high income. The treasure is a heart that walks with Jesus, and that is worth far more than gold that perishes.

The bills are real, the interest is climbing, the sleepless nights are exhausting. None of that is unseen by your heavenly Father. Cast that care on Him. The proving of your faith is precious, Peter says, more precious than gold that perishes though refined by fire. You are not waiting for a God who is stone in a well. You are waiting for the risen Christ who stepped out of the tomb and holds the keys of death and hades. That same power is at work in you, not to grant every demand like a vending machine, but to conform you to His image and to bring you safely home. Do not throw away your confidence. It will be richly rewarded.

Examine your own heart. Are you in the faith? The faith that saves is not saying creeds while clinging to hate; it is the faith that works through love. It is the faith that, when wronged, entrusts itself to Him who judges justly and then gets up to bless. That is the impossible work only the Spirit can do, and He will do it as you yield. Cry out for the grace to forgive before you see the money. That would be a miracle greater than any job or settlement, and it is exactly the kind of thing God delights to do.
