We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise you both made before God, as marriage is a covenant designed by God. This is a sacred bond.
Malachi 2:16: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not be unfaithful."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, You are the cord that binds them together, and we ask for Your divine intervention. We pray for a renewal of their love and commitment to each other. Help them to seek Your will for their marriage and to be open to Your guidance.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of divorce that may be attempting to tear this union apart. In the name of Jesus, we command any negative influences to flee. We pray for a hedge of protection around this marriage, guarding it from all evil.
Father, we ask that You would help them to forgive each other for any past hurts or wrongs. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, to understand and support each other.
We pray for a miracle of restoration.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of you to seek God individually and together. Spend time in His Word, pray together, and commit to seeking His face. Remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations around for His glory.
Ephesians 5:21: "subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ."
1 Corinthians 7:10-11: "But to the married I command--not I, but the Lord--that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to consider seeking biblical counseling. A wise counselor can provide guidance and support as you both work through this challenging time.
Stand strong in faith and remember that with God, all things are possible.
Matthew 19:6: "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
