Marriage Crisis

For the last 6-7 months my husband had been maintaining a romance online and by phone with an ex-girlfriend. I also found out that he's been involved in online sex dating for years. Until 2 weeks ago, i thought I was happily married to a godly man who loved me and cared about me. There are no signs of repentance or remorse for what's he's done. He's been trying to avoid me and avoid talking about the subject after I confronted him. And when we did, he would get extremely defensive and upset. Our last discussion turned violent, i thought he was going to hurt me. It was really scary. I decided to move out of the house 3 days ago.

The deep desire of my heart is for my husband to come to true repentance and that he may allow God to completely transform his life and that our marriage may be restored. Please pray for my husband, so that the Holy Spirit may convince him of sin in his life, pray for me so that I may be able to clearly hear God's voice and also pray for our 3 children who are very affected with all this. This situation had been devastating. Thank you all for your prayers. God bless you!

Dear Lord,

I pray for Nikki and her husband and three children. Please Lord, keep them all in Your hands. Help the husband to see with spiritual eyes and hear with spiritual ears. Give him Godly sorrow that leads one to repentance. Place Your Holy Spirit of conviction upon him and let him hate his sin and unfaithfulness in marriage. Protect the children. Divinely help each one of them in Your own special way helping them to be secure that God is over all and will continue to help them and love them. Give Nikki divine wisdom, understanding and love for what to do regarding her children and family's well being. Lead her to good Christian counseling and let her seek out some good advice - not shouldering this burden on her own. Most importantly that she would draw close to You and lean on Your understanding, not her own and You will direct her steps. The steps of the righteous are ordered of the Lord. Help her Lord in every way and keep her and her family well taken care of. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

LORD, I stand in agreement with these prayers, with the special addendum that You get Nikki's church involved and discipline this hypocrite. LORD, I'm asking for church discipline on this one...I'm asking that the pastor and elders get involved, and that this man is confronted by 2 or 3 witnesses with what he has done, and that he is told to shape up or leave the congregation, LORD. He's acting like an ungodly, sinful reprobate---worse than one of the heathen---with his lack of conscience, intimidation, violence, and cruelty. Step in and strike him, LORD...with the full weight of church discipline. Chastise him for his male chauvinism, LORD: scourge him for his hardened, sinful heart so that he may be saved on the Day of Judgement.

And I also come to You once again, Adonai Jehovah Makkeh...Adonai Jehovah Chereb---Our Sword and Striker:

I pray that You go after the demon principality assigned to destroy marriages in North America and Europe, oh LORD...I really ask that You go after him and strike him for what he's doing. Throw down this upstart and place him in chains of iron, oh LORD...get him off of marriages so that he can no longer spiritually defile Your children and slander YOUR NAME, FATHER...
