We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, but we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. We will address each issue and intercede on your behalf.
First, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Regarding the challenges in your marriage, we must strongly rebuke and address the sins of lust, infidelity, emotional abuse, and addiction. These behaviors are clearly against God's will for marriage. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4 WEB, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." And in Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, their marriage is in a dire state, and they need Your divine intervention. We pray that You turn the heart of her husband towards You, that he may be delivered from the sins of lust, infidelity, emotional abuse, and addiction. Set him free from the bondage of these sins and restore his relationship with You and with his wife.
Father, we pray that You help her husband see her as You see her—beautiful and precious in Your sight. We ask that You restore their marriage, that it may be a testament to Your glory and a picture of Christ's love for the church.
Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You grant her the strength to forgive and let go of resentment. Heal her heart and fill her with Your peace and love. Help her to see her husband through Your eyes and love him as You love him.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a miraculous restoration of their marriage. We stand against the enemy's attempts to destroy their union and declare that their marriage will be strengthened and restored by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask that You guide them both to be the spouses You have called them to be, that their marriage may be a blessing to them and a testimony to the world.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for healing, deliverance, and restoration. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your marriage and to seek godly counsel. Remember the promise in Matthew 19:6 WEB, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man put apart." Trust in God's power to restore and heal, and remain faithful in prayer and obedience.
Lastly, we want to encourage both you and your husband to examine yourselves and ensure that you are both in right standing with God. If either of you has not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Romans 10:9 WEB says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the foundation of a godly marriage, and we pray that you both build your lives and your union on this solid rock.
