Praying in Jesus Name.
We understand your longing for a loving and understanding spouse, and we join you in praying for God's will in your life. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and that includes our relationships.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It is a sacred union that should not be entered into lightly. We should seek God's face in Jesus' name for a Christian spouse who can lead us in the word and we can follow. We should be looking for a godly spouse, not just someone who treats us well.
We should be very careful in our approach to marriage and not just seek a spouse simply based on how they treat us. We should seek a spouse that will help us in our pursuit of God Almighty and His kingdom. We should be equally jogging for the things of God. Marriage is not just about finding someone who understands us and makes us happy. Proverbs 18:22 WEB states, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."
We also want to address the use of the term "soulmate." This term is not found in the Bible, and it often implies a romantic ideal that is not based on biblical principles. As Christians, we should be seeking a godly spouse, not a "soulmate." We advise against just looking for someone who is compatible with you or who makes you feel good. A Christian spouse will help you grow in your faith and walk with Christ.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is seeking Your will for their life in a spouse. We pray that You would guide them and lead them to a godly spouse who will love and cherish them, and who will help them grow in their faith. We pray that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they seek Your will for their life. We rebuke the desire to find a soulmate rather than a godly spouse and we ask you to forgive us and guide us.
We also pray that You would prepare them for marriage, and that You would help them to be the kind of spouse that You have called them to be. We pray that You would bless their future marriage, and that it would be a testimony to Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. We also remind you that Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Make sure to be in Jesus' name and believing this in your prayers.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
