Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our loved one who is going through a manic phase. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would calm his mind and stabilize his thoughts. We pray for wisdom and patience for all those involved, that we may respond with love and understanding. We rebuke any spiritual interference and claim peace and healing in Jesus' name. We also pray for godly counsel and effective medical attention if needed. Help us to be vessels of Your comfort and support. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
It's crucial to set boundaries and communicate calmly and firmly. It is okay to step away from conversations that become overwhelming. Remember, it's not disrespectful to set limits, especially when it's for the well-being of everyone involved.
Proverbs 17:27 WEB says, "He who spares his words has knowledge. He who is even tempered is a man of understanding."
During this time, it's also important to seek godly counsel. This may involve professional help, including medical attention. The Bible tells us that a wise man listens to advice.
Proverbs 12:15 WEB states, "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel."
Ensure that you are also taking care of your own spiritual and emotional well-being. It's easy to become overwhelmed in situations like this, but remember that God is your strength and refuge.
Psalm 46:1 WEB reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
