We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is on a ventilator. We know that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who knit this precious person together in their mother’s womb and knows every breath they take. Father, we ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and restore their ability to breathe independently. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we stand on Your promise that You hear us when we call.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and every work of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy. We command the lungs, the muscles, and every part of the respiratory system to function as You designed them to, in Jesus’ name. We pray for the medical team attending to them—that You would grant them wisdom, skill, and divine insight as they care for this life. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind, and let hope rise in their spirit as they trust in You.

We also lift up the family and loved ones surrounding them. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, and may their faith be strengthened as they wait on You. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We declare that this trial will not end in despair but in a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Father, we know that healing comes from You alone, and we ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through miraculous recovery or through the comfort and strength You provide in every moment. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

If this dear one or their loved ones do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we gently but urgently remind them that eternal life is found in Him alone. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 WEB). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray they would do so today, confessing their sins and inviting Him to be their Lord and Savior. There is no greater healing than the salvation of the soul.

We're here, lifting our brother or sister up in prayer, as they journey through this challenging time. We believe in the power of our Great Physician, Jesus, who not only healed the sick in His earthly ministry but continues to do so today. We ask that You, Lord, would touch their lungs, restore their breath, and grant them strength. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We also pray for the medical team, that they would be guided by Your divine wisdom and skill. Let Your peace, which is beyond understanding, guard their hearts and minds, and may hope rise in their spirits. We're here for their loved ones too, Lord. Comfort them, strengthen their faith, and remind them of Your nearness in their time of need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
