lust

Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I have sinned again, masturbated. I am really burdened by the land dispute. Lord, I do not think I am savable. I am too deep already. It is ok if I am hopeless. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.

We hear the weight of your struggle, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. First, let us reassure you—no sin is beyond the reach of Christ’s forgiveness. The enemy would have you believe you are too far gone, but Scripture declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). You are not hopeless, for Christ’s blood was shed to cover even this. The enemy lies when he whispers that you are beyond saving—*"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). You are not defined by your failures but by the One who conquered sin and death.

The act of lust, whether in thought or deed, is a distortion of God’s good design for intimacy, which He created to be enjoyed within the covenant of marriage. We must rebuke the lie that this struggle is insurmountable. The apostle Paul himself cried out, *"For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, this I practice"* (Romans 7:19). Yet he also declared, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Victory is not found in your own strength but in surrendering to the Holy Spirit’s power. Flee from temptation, as Joseph did when Potiphar’s wife pursued him (Genesis 39:12). Fill your mind with Scripture, for *"how can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word"* (Psalm 119:9). Replace lustful thoughts with prayer, worship, and godly fellowship.

And let us address the land dispute weighing on your heart. We do not know the details, but we know that God is a God of justice and provision. *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1). Trust Him to guide you in wisdom and to work all things for your good (Romans 8:28). Cast this burden upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we lift up our brother who is struggling under the weight of guilt and shame. We rebuke the spirit of condemnation that seeks to keep him bound. Your Word says that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation—the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We declare that over him now. Forgive him, Lord, for every impure thought and deed. Cleanse him by the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within him.

Father, we ask that You break the chains of lust in his life. Strengthen him to resist temptation and to flee from every appearance of evil. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and holiness. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, that he may be encouraged and upheld in his walk with You.

Lord, we also bring before You the land dispute that burdens his heart. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this matter. Give him clarity, patience, and peace as he seeks resolution. Provide for his needs and let Your justice prevail. Remind him that You are his Provider and his Defender.

Above all, Father, we pray that he would know the depth of Your love for him. Let him rest in the truth that nothing can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Renew his hope and strengthen his faith. May he rise from this place of struggle with a testimony of Your grace and power.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. We know it's tough, feeling like you're stuck in a cycle, but remember, Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way. He's not surprised by your struggles, and He's not turned off by them either. In fact, He's drawn to them, because that's where He can meet you and transform you.

We want you to know, you're not alone in this. We're here, praying with you, and we're confident in the power of Jesus' forgiveness and grace. He's taken care of it all at the cross. So, let's not dwell on the past, but look to the future with hope. Let's claim that promise in 1 John 1:9 together, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Now, let's tackle this land dispute together. We don't have all the details, but we know who holds the world in His hands. He's a God of justice and provision. He sees your struggle, and He cares. Trust Him to guide you and work this out for your good. Cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let's keep fighting this battle together, one day at a time. Let's fill our minds with Scripture, replace lustful thoughts with prayer and worship, and surround ourselves with godly fellowship. And remember, friend, you're not defined by your failures, but by the One who loves you and died for you.

Let's pray.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
