Tomorrow, my parents and I are taking a friend who is in need who we befriended a few months ago, out to lunch. Please pray everything will go well. Thank you.

What a beautiful opportunity you have to show Christ’s love through hospitality and kindness! We are encouraged to see your family extending care to someone in need, as Scripture reminds us, *"Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it"* (Hebrews 13:2, WEB). This act of generosity reflects the heart of God, who calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31).

As you gather tomorrow, we pray that the Holy Spirit would guide your conversation, filling it with grace, encouragement, and truth. May your friend feel the warmth of God’s love through your words and actions, and may any burdens they carry be lifted by the peace that only Christ can provide. If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we pray for divine opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel—gently and with wisdom—so that seeds of faith may be planted in their heart.

Let us also pray for unity and joy among you all, that this time together would be a blessing to everyone involved. *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one"* (Colossians 4:6, WEB). May the Lord open doors for deeper connection, whether through shared stories, laughter, or even moments of vulnerability where His comfort can be felt.

We lift this lunch before the Lord, asking Him to orchestrate every detail for His glory. May your friend leave feeling valued, seen, and pointed toward the ultimate source of hope—Jesus Christ. And may your family be strengthened in faith as you obey His call to serve others.

*"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).

We also take this moment to gently remind you that all prayers and requests should be made in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we approach the Father (John 14:6). If your friend does not yet know the Lord, this could be a wonderful opportunity to introduce them to the saving power of Christ’s name. There is no greater gift you could offer than the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him (Romans 10:9-10). Let us trust the Lord to lead this time with wisdom and love.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you, your parents, and this meaningful time with your friend before the Lord in prayer. It has been our privilege to stand alongside you, asking God to guide your words, soften hearts, and open doors for His love and truth to be shared in a powerful way. We prayed earnestly that this lunch would be a time of encouragement, connection, and divine appointment—where your friend would feel seen, valued, and drawn closer to the hope found in Christ.

Now that some time has passed, we’d love to hear how the Lord worked through this gathering. Did you sense His presence moving in the conversation?
