LOW VISION

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please grant healing and strength to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your struggle with low vision, and we lift you up in prayer, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who opens the eyes of the blind and brings healing in His perfect timing. Your request is heard, and we join you in crying out to the Father, trusting in His power and His will for your life.

The Scriptures remind us of God’s sovereignty over every part of our being, including our sight. In Exodus 4:11, the Lord says to Moses, *"Who made man’s mouth? Or who makes one mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn’t it I, Yahweh?"* And in Psalm 146:8, we read, *"Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous."* Our God is not limited by human limitations—He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He is able to restore what has been diminished.

We also recall the words of Jesus in John 9:1-3, when His disciples asked Him about a man born blind: *"Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, 'Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him.'"* Your low vision is not outside of God’s plan, and we pray that through this trial, His glory would be revealed in your life, whether through healing or through the strength and faith He builds in you as you trust in Him.

Yet we also know that healing is not always immediate or even earthly, and in those times, we are called to trust in God’s greater purpose. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the removal of his "thorn in the flesh," but the Lord responded, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). If the Lord tarries in healing your eyes, we pray that His grace would be your strength, that you would experience His presence in new and profound ways, and that you would be a testimony of His faithfulness to those around you.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in practical ways. Have you consulted with medical professionals who can provide guidance or treatment options? While we trust in God’s supernatural healing, we also believe He often works through the hands of skilled physicians. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to seek help where it is available, all while placing your ultimate trust in the Lord.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is struggling with low vision. Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch their eyes with Your healing power, that You would restore their sight according to Your will. Lord, if it is Your desire to heal them, we pray that You would do so swiftly and completely, that they may see clearly and give You all the glory. But if Your plan is to walk with them through this trial, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, Your strength, and Your joy. Let them know that You are near, that You see their struggle, and that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.

We pray that You would surround them with a community of believers who can support and encourage them. Give them wisdom to navigate this season, whether through medical treatment, adaptive tools, or simply learning to rely more fully on You. Help them to fix their eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

Lord, we also pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger, that they would draw closer to You, and that others would see Your light shining through them. May they be a testimony of Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your power.

We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Amen.

Finally, we want to remind you that your worth and identity are not found in your physical abilities but in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for you in this season. Keep your heart open to what He wants to teach you, and trust that He is with you every step of the way. If you have not already, we encourage you to spend time in His Word daily, allowing His truths to renew your mind and strengthen your spirit. Consider memorizing verses that remind you of His promises, such as Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Cling to these truths, and let them be your anchor.

We are standing with you in faith, believing that God is at work in your life. May you experience His peace, His healing, and His presence in abundance.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your vision concern to our Heavenly Father. We're reminded of the story of the blind man in John 9, where Jesus' disciples asked who sinned, the man or his parents, that he was born blind. Jesus replied, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." We trust that God is using this trial to reveal His glory in your life, just as He did in that man's life.

We're praying for healing, yes, but also for faith, peace, and wisdom. We encourage you to seek medical advice, trusting that God often works through the hands of skilled physicians. Let's claim these promises together:

"Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind." (Psalm 146:8)

"With God, all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

Let's trust that God is at work, even in the unseen. We're believing with you for healing, and if it's not His will, for strength, faith, and a deeper walk with Him. You're not alone; we're standing with you, and so is our great God.
