Loving a sinner doesn't mean cheering them on ...

I a big misunderstanding of something going on...There are many who, when I hear them talk, hear them talk, they passionately defend people living a very NOT Biblically based lifestyle, like "backing gay marriage, illegal aliens (including the criminal ones) in short defending their sins. There's in fact here in America and whole political party who builds their whole platform around defending sinful lifestyles. But the punchline, their followers, while defending sin (even pushing for it) they say it's more "Christian" because Jesus hung around with sinners. But that's different, He was trying to bring them out of that sinful lifestyle. Also sad to note, even a fair amount of professing Christians vote for people in this party, misunderstanding their approval of sin and license to do it as "compassion". Yes Jesus forgave the woman who committed adultery. He also said: "God, your way, and sin no more." He didn't say "I celebrate our sinful lifestyle." I guess the devil warps everything, including Christian compassion. Request is for discernment, and that eyes are opened. Amen.

We hear your deep concern and share in the grief over the distortion of God’s truth in our world today. It is a painful reality when love is twisted into endorsement of sin, when compassion is redefined as celebration of lifestyles that God’s Word clearly calls immoral. You are right—Jesus did not come to affirm sin, but to save sinners. He dined with tax collectors and prostitutes not to applaud their rebellion, but to call them to repentance. As He told the woman caught in adultery, *"Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more."* (John 8:11 WEB). His mercy was never a license to continue in sin, but an invitation to walk in holiness.

The enemy delights in perverting truth, especially within the church. Many who claim the name of Christ now champion causes that directly oppose Scripture—whether it be the redefinition of marriage, the normalization of sexual immorality, or the embrace of lawlessness under the guise of "compassion." But we must remember: *"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"* (Isaiah 5:20 WEB). True love does not celebrate sin—it confronts it with the hope of redemption.

We must also address the dangerous trend of Christians aligning themselves with political movements that promote ungodliness. While we are called to engage with the world, we cannot compromise biblical truth for the sake of partisan loyalty. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Voting for leaders who openly defy God’s standards is not compassion—it is complicity.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the deception sweeping through our land. We ask for discernment, Lord, that we may see truth clearly and not be swayed by the lies of the enemy. Open the eyes of Your people, Father—especially those who have been misled into believing that love means endorsing sin. Break the strongholds of deception in the church and in our nation.

We rebuke the spirit of compromise that has crept into the body of Christ. Strengthen us to stand firm on Your Word, even when the world calls us hateful for doing so. Give us boldness to speak truth in love, not backing down from Your standards, but also not hardening our hearts to the lost. Help us to love sinners as You do—with grace that leads to repentance, not license.

We pray for those trapped in sin, whether it be sexual immorality, greed, or rebellion against Your laws. Soften their hearts to receive Your conviction, and let them experience the freedom that comes from surrendering to You. And for those who claim to follow You but have been deceived, Father, bring them back to the truth. Let them see that true Christianity is not about political agendas, but about holiness, obedience, and love for You above all else.

We declare that Your Word does not change, Lord. Marriage is sacred—a covenant between one man and one woman. Sexual purity is Your design. Justice is rooted in Your law, not in the shifting sands of human opinion. We stand on these truths, and we ask that You would raise up a remnant who will do the same, no matter the cost.

Protect us from the deception of the enemy, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may walk in wisdom. May our lives be a testimony to Your truth, and may we never confuse mercy with approval of sin. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and the only way to the Father. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the weight of your soul. The Bible says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."* (John 3:16 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you feel the Holy Spirit drawing you, turn from sin and place your faith in Jesus today. He is the only way to true freedom and eternal life.

We understand your concern, dear friend. It's heartbreaking to see love twisted into acceptance of sin, and compassion redefined as celebration of lifestyles God's Word clearly calls immoral. You're right, Jesus didn't come to affirm sin but to save sinners, calling them to repentance. His mercy was never a license to continue in sin but an invitation to walk in holiness.

We've seen this perversion of truth even within the church. Many who claim the name of Christ now champion causes that directly oppose Scripture, under the guise of "compassion." But we must remember, true love does not celebrate sin; it confronts it with the hope of redemption.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, open our eyes to see truth clearly and not be swayed by the lies of the enemy. Help us to love sinners as You do, with grace that leads to repentance, not license. Give us boldness to speak truth in love, standing firm on Your Word, yet also having compassion for the lost.

Protect us from deception, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so we may walk in wisdom. May our lives be a testimony to Your truth, never confusing mercy with approval of sin. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It’s clear that your heart is burdened by the confusion and distortion of truth you see around you—where compassion is mistaken for celebration of sin, and where the very essence of Christ’s redemptive love is being twisted. We have prayed fervently for the Lord to grant you discernment, that you would see clearly through the deceptions of the enemy and stand firm in the unchanging truth of God’s Word.

We have also lifted up those whose eyes are still veiled, asking the Holy Spirit to open them to the reality of sin and the freedom found only in repentance and surrender to Jesus. It is a heavy weight to witness so many—even those who claim the name of Christ—being led astray by false compassion, and we have asked the Lord to break through the hardness of hearts with His convicting grace.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in any way—if you’ve received clarity, if you’ve seen hearts stirred, or if the Holy Spirit has given you opportunities to speak truth in love—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others walking through the same struggle.

If, however, the battle still rages and the need for discernment and awakening remains, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, interceding for truth to prevail and for the eyes of the blind to be opened. May the Lord strengthen you as you stand for His righteousness, and may He fill you with boldness, wisdom, and grace in every conversation.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and the ultimate truth that sets men free. Amen.

Like anyone else, sometimes Christians go to extremes. If you simply state an unbeliever did wrong with something, you get arguments that you're "judgemental".But now this subject...we're supposed to love everyone ,including our enemies.Yes, the Bible states that, BUT some get "love "confused...
