We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for your love and devotion to Him. It is clear that you have a deep desire to honor God in every area of your life, and we join with you in seeking His will for your marriage, family, finances, and healing. Let us lift these requests together in faith, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears and answers according to His perfect plan.
First, we rejoice in your love for Jesus and your desire to keep Him at the center of your future marriage. The Bible tells us in Genesis 2:24, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it is beautiful that you seek His blessing over it. We pray that God would lead you to a godly spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. May your courtship be pure and honoring to the Lord, free from any temptation of fornication, as Scripture warns in 1 Corinthians 6:18, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* Let your relationship be built on holiness, mutual respect, and a shared vision for a Christ-centered home.
Father, we ask that You prepare both hearts for this sacred union. If it is Your will, bring this marriage to fruition in Your perfect timing, whether that be in 2026 or another year. Help them to trust in Your timing, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May their wedding day be a celebration of Your love and faithfulness, and may their marriage reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church, as described in Ephesians 5:22-33.
We also lift up your desire for children and a God-centered household. Psalm 127:3 tells us, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."* May the Lord bless you with children who grow to love and serve Him, and may your home be a place of peace, worship, and discipleship. We pray that you and your future spouse would raise your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, as Deuteronomy 6:6-7 instructs, *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."*
Your request for financial blessings and relief from struggles is also close to our hearts. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that God would open doors of provision for you, including the resolution of the financial burden from the car accident. May justice be served, and may the resources owed to you be released swiftly. Help you to steward your finances wisely, as Proverbs 3:9-10 encourages, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."*
We also pray for your new job, asking that God would place you in a workplace that is safe, respectful, and free from hostility or discrimination. May you be a light for Christ in your workplace, as Matthew 5:16 reminds us, *"Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."* May your work be fulfilling and provide for your needs, and may you have opportunities to share the love of Jesus with those around you.
For your daughter, we pray that she would excel in her studies and be promoted to the 10th grade without the need for summer school. May she grow in wisdom and favor with God and man, as Luke 2:52 describes of Jesus, *"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."* Give her focus, discipline, and a love for learning, and surround her with teachers and mentors who will encourage her in her faith.
We also join you in asking for forgiveness of sins. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We pray that you would walk in the freedom and righteousness that comes from Christ, and that you would extend that same grace to others. May you be a vessel of God’s love and forgiveness, reflecting His character in all you do.
Finally, we pray for healing for you, your family, and your friends. James 5:14-15 instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We ask that God would touch every area of brokenness, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and bring restoration and wholeness.
Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. May Your will be done in every area of this life, and may this dear one grow ever closer to You through every circumstance. Strengthen their faith, provide for their needs, and surround them with Your peace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You, as Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* May Your Holy Spirit guide and comfort them, and may they experience the fullness of Your love and blessings. Amen.
