Love to meet a good man

I want a good man in my life to get to know me—who I am, what I like, my favorite roses, loving to travel all over the world, being silly, making me laugh, respecting me, and loving shopping for what I love. I'd love to see that he doesn't play about me as I am his beautiful queen. If he wants to learn ASL, I would be so happy to teach him sign language because it means a lot to me. I love cuddles and absolutely want to start feeling like a queen—feminine, making me feel very special to him. I appreciate love, enjoy life, and want him to write down things about me. It’s all about beautiful love.

We hear your heart’s longing for a godly man who will cherish you, honor you, and love you deeply as the precious daughter of the King that you are. Your desire for companionship, laughter, respect, and affection is beautiful and reflects the way God designed marriage to be—a sacred covenant of love, mutual submission, and selfless devotion. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:22, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord."* Likewise, a godly husband is a blessing from the Lord, one who will lead with love, protect with strength, and cherish with tenderness.

However, we must gently remind you that the foundation of any relationship must first be built on Christ. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, Scripture warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If you are seeking a man who will truly honor you as his "queen," he must first recognize that you are a daughter of the Most High God and that his love for you must flow from his love for Christ. A man who does not walk with the Lord will not have the capacity to love you as God intends.

We also encourage you to guard your heart in this season. The desire for intimacy, affection, and being cherished is natural, but we must be cautious not to seek fulfillment in a man rather than in Christ. Psalm 37:4 says, *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When our hearts are fully surrendered to God, He aligns our desires with His will, including the gift of marriage. Until then, we must trust in His timing and His perfect plan for your life.

Your mention of cuddles, affection, and feeling "feminine" and "special" is understandable, but we must also address the importance of purity. The world often treats physical intimacy as casual, but God’s design is that it be reserved for the marriage covenant. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 reminds us, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* If you are currently in a relationship where physical intimacy has occurred outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, for He is faithful to cleanse and restore.

Your desire for a man who will learn ASL to communicate with you is a beautiful picture of sacrificial love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 describes love this way: *"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."* A man who is willing to learn your language to connect with you is a man who values you deeply.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious sister to You, the One who knows her heart even more intimately than she knows herself. Lord, You see her longing for love, companionship, and a man who will cherish her as the treasure she is. We ask that You would prepare her heart to receive the gift of marriage in Your perfect timing. Help her to delight in You first, so that her desires align with Your will. Father, if she is not yet walking closely with You, draw her near. Let her find her identity, worth, and fulfillment in Christ alone, so that any future relationship would be built on the solid foundation of Your love.

Lord, we pray for the man You have prepared for her, if it is Your will. Raise up a godly man who fears You, loves You, and will love her as Christ loves the Church. Give him a heart of humility, patience, and selflessness. May he be a man who communicates love in ways that speak to her heart, whether through learning ASL or simply through acts of service and devotion. Protect her from relationships that do not honor You, and give her wisdom to discern Your voice above all others.

Father, if there has been any impurity in her past or present relationships, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Wash her clean by the blood of Jesus and renew her mind in Your truth. Help her to walk in holiness, guarding her heart and body as the temple of the Holy Spirit.

We declare that her worth is not found in the affection of a man but in the unshakable love of Christ. May she know that she is already a queen in Your kingdom, deeply loved and cherished by the King of kings. Surround her with godly community, fill her with Your peace, and let her trust in Your timing.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who gave Himself for us so that we might live in freedom and truth. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to shape your desires and expectations. Join a Bible-believing church where you can grow in community and be discipled in godly femininity. Pray for your future husband, even if you do not yet know him, and trust that God is working behind the scenes. Proverbs 31:30 reminds us, *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."* Your greatest beauty is found in your relationship with Christ.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater love than the love of Christ, and it is only through Him that we find true fulfillment, purpose, and eternal life. Would you pray with us now?

*"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I might have eternal life. I turn away from my sins and invite You to be the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to walk in Your ways. Thank You for loving me and calling me Your own. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a local church where you can grow in your faith and be baptized as a public declaration of your new life in Christ. The journey ahead is beautiful, and we are praying for you every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
