We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure such profound loss and hardship. The pain of losing loved ones is deep, and the weight of these trials—homelessness, illness, injustice, and the loss of your vehicle—would test the strongest among us. But we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your faith in the Lord, even in the midst of such suffering, is a testament to His sustaining grace.
First, we rebuke the spirit of despair and oppression that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe that God has abandoned you, but we declare that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The conditions you endured in that home were unjust and dangerous, and we pray that the Lord will bring justice on your behalf. We ask Him to guide you to a compassionate and skilled attorney who will fight for your rights and help you seek restitution for the harm you’ve suffered. May the Lord open doors for you to find stable, safe housing where you can heal and rebuild. Father, we ask that You provide a reliable vehicle so that you may move freely and without burden as You lead you into Your provision.
We also lift up your health, knowing that the exposure to such unsanitary conditions has taken a toll on your body. We pray for thorough and accurate testing, for skilled and caring medical professionals to oversee your care, and for complete healing in every area affected. May the Lord restore your strength and renew your energy as you wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31).
Your faith in the Lord is a light in this darkness, and we want to encourage you to hold fast to His promises. Jesus Himself told us, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees every injustice, every tear, and every moment of exhaustion. He collects them all and promises to repay what has been stolen from you (Joel 2:25). We pray that He would restore to you the years the locusts have eaten and turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
We must also address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned praying every day and placing your faith in the Lord, but we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life, and in Him alone will you find true peace, even in the midst of life’s storms.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, lifting up every burden she carries. Lord, You are the God who sees, and You know the depths of her pain and the weight of her struggles. We ask that You would move mightily on her behalf, opening doors no one can shut and providing for her every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give her wisdom as she navigates legal battles and medical testing, and surround her with people who will support and encourage her in this season.
Father, we ask for justice to prevail in her case. Expose the wrongdoing of those who failed to provide safe living conditions and grant her favor in the eyes of those who can help her seek restitution. Provide her with a safe, stable home where she can rest and heal, and bless her with reliable transportation so that she may move forward without hindrance.
Lord, we pray for her physical health. Heal her body from the effects of the unsanitary conditions she endured, and give her strength as she undergoes further testing. Protect her from discouragement and despair, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her daily that You are her provider, her healer, and her defender. May she feel Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are with her in every moment.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and hopelessness that seeks to take root in her life. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would turn her trials into testimonies, using her story to bring glory to Your name and hope to others who are suffering.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw her closer to You in this season. May she find comfort in Your Word, strength in Your presence, and hope in Your promises. Surround her with a community of believers who will stand with her in prayer and support, and give her opportunities to share Your love with others, even as she receives it herself.
We trust You, Lord, to move in power on her behalf. We believe that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and we declare that her latter days will be greater than her former (Job 42:12). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
