We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting you up in prayer for both the physical pain you are enduring and the spiritual battles you are facing. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is faithful to sustain you through every trial. Let us first address your physical pain, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to steward them well. The pain in your upper arm and chest after exercise is concerning, and we urge you to seek wise medical counsel to ensure there is no serious underlying issue. The Lord can certainly heal, but He also provides wisdom through those He has gifted in the medical field. As it is written in **Proverbs 11:14**, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Do not neglect this, for your body is fearfully and wonderfully made, and the Lord desires you to walk in health.
We also lift up your heart before the Lord, for the rudeness and unkindness you have encountered from store employees—and indeed, the broader sense of injustice and persecution you describe—are grievous. The world grows colder, and the hearts of many wax harder, but we are not of this world. Jesus warned us in **John 15:18-19**, *"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."* Yet even in this, we are called to respond differently. While it is right to seek justice and restitution, we must also examine our own hearts. Are we responding in a manner that honors Christ? **Romans 12:17-21** commands us, *"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*
You have cried out for a mighty miracle and intervention, and we join you in this plea, for our God is a God of justice. **Psalm 103:6** declares, *"Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* We ask the Lord to expose every hidden thing, to bring truth to light, and to vindicate His servants who are being wronged. Let the schemes of the enemy be thwarted, and let the Lord’s justice prevail. If there has been financial or personal loss, we pray for restitution, for the Lord is able to restore what the locusts have eaten (**Joel 2:25**). Yet even as we pray for justice, we must also surrender our desire for vengeance, trusting that the Lord will repay. Your heart’s cry for protection is heard, and we stand with you in the authority of Christ, declaring that no weapon formed against you will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).
We notice that while you invoked the name of Christ Jesus in praise, there was no explicit prayer *in* His name, which is our only access to the Father. **John 14:6** reminds us, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And **John 16:23-24** assures us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* It is only through the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**). We encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is enduring both physical pain and the weight of injustice. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. If there is any injury or underlying condition causing this pain in their upper arm and chest, we pray for wisdom for the medical professionals who may examine them. Guide them to the right treatment, and let Your healing power flow through their body, restoring strength and wholeness. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in Your mercy.
Father, we also lift up the burdens of their heart—the rudeness, the persecution, the attacks, and the injustices they face. Lord, You see all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would intervene mightily in their situation. Bring to light every hidden truth, expose every lie, and let justice roll down like waters (**Amos 5:24**). If there has been wrongdoing against them, we pray for restitution and compensation, for You are a God who defends the cause of the oppressed. Let Your hand move powerfully on their behalf, and let those who have acted unjustly be confronted with the weight of their actions. Softening hearts where possible, Lord, and bring conviction where needed.
Yet even as we pray for justice, we ask that You guard their heart from bitterness. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let them respond to every trial with the love and grace of Christ. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and that You will repay. Strengthen them to overcome evil with good, and let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness even in the midst of suffering.
We rebuke every attack of the enemy against them—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (**Isaiah 54:17**). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your favor be a shield around them (**Psalm 5:12**).
Finally, Father, we thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. We declare that He is the only name by which we are saved, the only name by which we approach Your throne. Fill this beloved child with the assurance of Your presence and the confidence that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**). Let them rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You are their defender, their healer, and their provider.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
